I'm sorry. I feel happy for you, I really do... but this is why I blame Obama for wasting American tax dollars. The fact that a family can fall so much above the previous tax bracket limit and still get aid dollars is appalling to me. Even worse, there are people out there that really need that money and your sister comes off with extra dollars to spare! Sigh... This stimulus is serious fail. This is the same reason I am against the tax rebates.
EDIT: I'm not trying to come off humanitarian. I admit if it were up to me, I'd just slice $300 billion off of the current stimulus to minimize government debt; but even if you were humanitarian and you wanted to save people, the tax rebates are the exact wrong way to come about it. There are many people who have lost their jobs out there and investing more on infrastructure could give these people a job and a service the public may need. The way Obama does it accomplishes nothing... for the Democrats nor for the Republicans.
We need to stop this euphoria and start telling off Obama for who this guy truly is.
If you did your research, you would have found that the 40% of the bill that is tax breaks and rebates was added to the bill by republicans in teh house and senate, not to put the blame entirely on them, but the senate democrats and obama wanted more inferstructural (spelling?) spending but ahd to compromise with the republicans
Actually what confuses me more, isn't so much whether or not catholics hate babies. As much as how they suddenly come up with random new rules and changes to "god's word".
Who decides that? Or is there really some guy in the Vatican that just has final say on what the bible really meant and can just altar it whenever a particular passage just doesn't sit right with a certain generation? Doesn't that kinda take away some of the integrity of the whole thing that a mortal man can decide "What god really meant"?
Well thats one of the reasons the Protestant church split from the Catholic church, whether each person can interperit the bible for themselves or whether the religious authorities can do that for them. Supposedly, the pope relays god's will to his followers, so any change an come from either reinterperiting the scripture, or the pope claiming god told him to change it. If this is wrong, correct me, but this is how it was explained to me.

Arrording to new findings by the Catholic Church, unbaptised babies do not stay in purgatory, as previously thought, they go to heaven, because god is merciful. So why do Catholics dislike abortion so much? According to them, human life starts at conception, so if a fetus is aborted, it should go to heaven. Do Catholics not want babies to go to heaven? There are two possible explanations, Catholic authorities recognize that there is no heaven, and only tell people babies go there to give them false hope, or they hate babies!
