Its probably not going to be as oppressively good as everyone seems to think it will be, however I think its good enough try. I'll probably end up playing it in San Diego at the GP this winter, not these ****ty rg lists with clunky do nothing cards like Primeval titan. I foresee something more along the lines of the GU ones from the extended season last year.
Heres the list:
4 Coiling Oracle
4 wood elves
3 vendilion clique
3 Venser, shaper savant
4 cryptic command
4 remand
2 echoing truth
4 scapeshift
4 prismatic omen
4 breeding pool
1 dryad arbor
2 flooded grove
6 forest
3 hinterland harbor
4 island
4 misty rainforest
4 valakut the molten pinnacle.
I was also thinking of maybe a Gifts Ungiven/Eternal witness set up with more counter magic, also not sure if I should play mystic snake or not. I'll probably do some playtesting this week to figure it out, if abrupt decay doesn't really catch on I can see cutting the venser's. But who knows this is just a brainstorm and figured I would see what people thought.
I agree that the mistform creatures would be a good a idea, on the changeling note i have every creature from lorwyn block with the changeling ability in here already and i should probably change the hivestone to conspiracy i was just trying to balance it out because it seemed that slivers were a little bit more powerful than the other tribes and hivestone was the easy answer probably not the best one, but again i appreciate your input it has helped to bring the tribal cube one step closer which i think will be an incredibly fun format.
Mogg fanatic was most definitely a metagame choice as it will usuall wreck an elves draw, and the life loss off bob usually is not that bad but i do think that i will switch him out for phyrexian arena for the same effect with less life loss, the deck has a very strong matchup with pretty much everything though.
No sideboard yet im not entirely sure what the entire block meta is and it wont be defined until reborn comes out but i was looking at these cards and felt i had to build it.
i think banefire is decently strong against you as is boatbrew your one creature isnt going to beat an agressive deck that wrath doesnt hurt too much, a wrath will probably leave boat brew with six goblins and you taking two to the dome
I was just wondering because you dont have any creatures that will survive it. finks doesnt count, im just saying if you play against someone who still has the balls to play fae im pretty sure you wont win. but being as the biggest thing you have to worry about since conflux is reveillark variants, and im sure they bring in wraths, head games will help as long as your opponent doesnt play blue and the monsters inc deck will probably just overpower you too quickly.
i apologize if i sound like a **** my meta is very reveillarky and i havent seen too many sideboards without negate or the new ub negate, and the monsters inc deck isnt really going to take too big a hit from a headgames because they empty there hand very quickly plus four thoughtseize and four sculler will strip your hand very quickly.
I havent really seen too much teeg action, ive only seen two people play the monsters inc. deck and i usually can naya charm him away, but if the deck gets more popular i will probably change the sideboarded condemns to path of exile just so i dont have to wait for the teeg to attack because it probably wont happen.
