If Core set 2021 is anything like Core set 2019, we could very well see phyrexians in M21 and in that case
The Legendary green mythic could be: Jolrael (new version)
The Legendary black mythic could be : K'rrik (even though he got a card recently)
The Legendary white mythic could be : Mangara (new version)

We know this is going to be a Teferi-based core set but I cannot determine whether it's gonna be a look at Teferi's past or a conclusion to the Zalfir arc. If the former I think we could expect a lot of callbacks to the Invasion and Mirage storylines, such as Phyrexians, Urza, the Jamuraan nations and the Weatherlight. If the latter is true then I expect to see more Jamuraan and Mirage callbacks but with a much looser theme.
Core 2020 was also a "Chandra" set but the only thing about Chandra related in that set were her PW cards, I dunno if this year set will be the same or if there will be actual story tied to it
Phyrexia will definatly be up there as most likely (ofcoarse watch the set be nearly all modern playable cards again like last time)
Heck in maro if/when day from this year a few weeks ago had poison counters in standard and 2.0 version of the praetors was a Big when
Anyway besides core 2022 probably karn like you said if we’re going to New Phyrexia again
Probably a new plane again and one revisit
And I feel commander 2021 will be on New Phyrexia because elesh norn probably becoming the New heir to yawgmoth throne and that gives opportunity for a phyrexia themed deck
Also even if Karn and co defeat NP, I think it won't be the end of phyrexians, I think the "end of phyrexian arc" will be a new invasion on Dominaria
Except for Karn, I expect the walker choices are gonna be the ones for new phyrexia battle if we're going back there
I think that will happen in core 2022 tbh, they are slowly building torwards a NP set, however I believe a New phyrexia return won't come as soon as Q4 2021, we haven't been to Innistrad in over 5 years by 2021, plus I can see a new world in the next year and obviously a core set, return set,new world,core set,new phyrexia would be my bet

Q2 Return to Innistrad//Commander 2021 will be tied with Innistrad
Q3 Core set 2022 (based on Karn)
Q4 Return to New Phyrexia

I rewatched the Commander 2020 reveal video and Gavin said some of those 70 plus legendaries can also be new characters, also there's the commander legends commander decks with 3 new legendary creatures each, so we are looking at least 76 new creatures with this product release.
Could be worse, I have to get a box of these
