Hey there! Got a stack question that I think I have interpreted correctly, but haven't actually had play out yet, and a play group that I know will question me, should the scenario arise.
So the scenario here is Reanimate is on the stack and then a Fork copies it. Both of these spells are cast by the same player. The graveyards contain exactly 1 Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger and some number of copies of Storm Crow.
The intention here is for both copies of Reanimate to target Kroxa to get multiple triggers of the ETB ability.
The way I see it, both copies will target Kroxa on the stack. One copy will resolve, and reanimate Kroxa. Kroxa's ability will happen, and then Kroxa will sacrifice itself since it did not escape. Then the second copy of Reanimate will still have the same Kroxa as it's target.
How accurate am I? My uncertainty is mostly based on the Kroxa being the shared target, but then moving from one zone, to another, and then back to the original zone.
Given this, does that mean that the final Reanimate copy to resolve will not have a legal target, and therefore fizzles?
Edit: reply #3 answers this and was left while I was typing. Thank you!
