5 pages back when i suggested to use a full grip of 4x Iron Myr and u all diss'ed me. Now who's got the last laugh :>

to the above posters, Iron myr is good for the reasons you stated, as well as being a blocker and a lightning rod for removals.

i think the 2 most efficient ways to poison an opopnent is either use:
1. green for pump spells - i mean, a kicked vines of vastwood...da nuts!
2. proliferate engine - i was using throne of geth and contagion clasp last night......its pretty crazy

with mono blue tempo decks, you'd be suprised at how efficient and effective Spell Pierce is. maybe worth consideration.

with the popularity of UB control and 4xbolt in every red deck, i'm running 2x vines of vastwood. its ridiculous good. for 1 mana it says "counter target removal". for 2 mana its says "u might just have enough damage to steal this game".

i like rogue type ideas....has anyone given Corrupt any thought? face damage!

ok, i understand that Baneslayer Angel is an older card, and all the new cards (titans, koth, venser...etc) are newer and exciting, but BSA is still a good creature.

i would still think the core of a tap out deck should be something like this:
4x jace 2
4x BSA
3x gideon
4x mana leak
2x sunblast angel
....etc.

but this is only 1 man's thoughts.........(yes, dispite my avatar, i'm a man)

i dont think another color is necessary at all. but if i did want to splash, it would be blue. trinket mage does what stoneforge does, but also gives you a range of non-equipment artifacts. it also allows for mana leak, jace, card draw.

but all that being said, i'll go back to my first point - "i dont think another color is necessary at all". bcos i need all the mountains i can get for koth and valakut.

my deck is alot different to most other decks in this thread. i have considerably less burn spells. i dont claim that i have a better/worse list, but i definitely modified my list to my meta. my meta is full of RDW and U/x control and i split their bumholes with my deck.

counterspells aside, U/x just cant deal with valakut, recurring phoenix, masticore and koth. actually, i take that back, they can counter phoenix all they want :>

i must admit though, my pre-board list isnt great against mono green ramp. but this is normally how i board:
VS elves - pyroclasm
VS eldrazi green - sparkmage/collar combo, tunnel ignus
VS WW relic - shatter (i realise that this sounds boring and "meh", but its amazing against relic decks)

again, my deck was modified for my meta....thats why my card choices might look wierd :>

since u want to take advantage of mimic vat, why not a recurable removal like Skinrender. Gatekeeper is cool, but its not great off a mimic vat

not dicounting the fact that omse people already post some results, but i was wondering if anyone with results to post them up? i dont mind whether its casual playtesting or FMN. they dont have to be high level tourney results.
