Ah, I see the point there. I usually think of "endgaming" as literally the state that ends the game (which is a loss if someone in our block is Scum).
I didn't interpret it they way you meant it, which is just bringing us to LyLo if one of us is Scum.
I actually think this is probably a Town post then.

back to lw I go vote: lw
Does this mean that your last vote was originally serious and not RVS?

It was mostly RVS, but not entirely.
Given that LW is the only person here I've seen play, I can (hopefully) read them marginally better than the rest of you, so if any RVS wagon took off I'd want it to be them, plus I knew they were in thread.

It became a serious vote when they started the flavor claim thing, but I wanted to see more people talk about it before I acknowledged the vote as serious.

Nothing. I can reasonably guess that you have decent experience playing from post count, which is why I didn't put setting up WIFOM behind you.

I also generally view "haha, i'm making a joke" posts as a minor scumtell - they don't actually achieve anything and are a useful tool to generate thread presence and display a lighthearted/jovial tone to come across as Town tonally, so I feel like Scum actually jokepost slightly more often.

I like your #54 and subsequent posts more though.

Betcha there isn’t a cell with two scum in it. How about we pick a cell to endgame and kill everyone?

I volunteer for my cell to live!

The more I think about this post the more I struggle with it, even if it is a mostly joke-y post.

TownVaimes doesn't just have to worry about a cell with two Scum in it if we endgame our cell, they have to worry that either Rhand or I are Scum. I don't see how TownVaimes gets in the mindset to post this.

ScumVaimes also gets benefit out of posting this, because we'll look back and WIFOM the ***** out of ourselves about number of Scum per cell if we ever lynch them.

What's everyone else's thoughts on this? Mine are vote: vaimes

So what is everyone in the slammer for? Apparently I committed extortion,

I encourage people to not answer this. I'm always leery of sharing "extra" flavor information like that, because sometimes roles actually interact with it.

Much as I like this idea, the cell blocks were random, so the odds of a 2-scum block are actually pretty decent.
That might not be today true actually. The cells are probably sorted by times, then the mod randomness the times and placed the players in specific cells. Iirc that's how the last one was.

I don't parse this, sorry. Can you rephrase/clarify for me? I can't think of any other means to interpret this beyond that there's no link between cell and role:

    Game specific Rules:
-Each player will be assigned a cell from A-E at random, in addition to your role.

    I wonder who flargblarg is.

On a deeper level, I do too.

I play/host elsewhere and got referred here by osie. I also know Lastwhisper a bit, although I wouldn't say I know either of them particularly well.

In the real world I'm a software engineer making vidja games in the greater Seattle area. I don't play a ton of MTG but dabble in kitchen table Commander every so often.

    oooh. Neat.

The only game studio I'm currently aware of in Seattle is Valve, though I'm sure there are others. Do you work for Valve by chance?

Seattle is actually the highest density games studio area in the world, last I checked, although SF bay area was close and might have passed us by now. I don't work for Valve because I actually want to ship video games.
