Hi, the question is simple, is the Mind's Desire errata about "you may play it as though it were in your hand"? because the news version dont have it, and i know card casted in exile are not in your hand, i have this question because a friend use the scourge version on a Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder deck.

The text "...if you pay 2 more to cast it" expresses an additional cost, not an alternative cost (compare C.R. 118.8 with C.R. 118.9). And any additional costs still apply to a spell you cast by paying an alternative cost rather than its mana cost (as with flashback) (C.R. 118.9d, 702.33a). Thus, if Rout is in your graveyard and has flashback, you can cast Rout as though it had flash by paying its flashback cost plus 2 (in addition to any other costs) (C.R. 601.2f).

    Thanx

    hi, rout+flashback
"You may cast Rout as though it had flash if you pay 2 more to cast it"
its a alternative cost or a additional cost?
i know flashback is a alternative cost and cannot be 2 alternative in the same time, the player need to chose one.
additional cost can be multiple payed in the same time.

the player can flashback routpaying 5WW?

    thanx for your answer.
