This is what happens when you get your greater than and less than signs mixed up: you select all pre modern (rather than modern) commons/uncommons. Some of the more legible cards that stood out.

# Kind of a cool wall. Would stick in a peasant cube anytime.
Just getting aboard on with this, though haven't had time to trudge through all 116 pages of this thread yet. Just started training my neural network with exclusively common and uncommon cards. I thought I would do a silly and make a twitter account associated with it. I just posted a card that stuck out to me in my 2nd'ish run. The text on it isn't perfect but there is something about it that sticks out.
Look forward to playing around with this more. One of my other projects related to this involves loading the mtgjson set in to a couchdb, so I may attempt to integrate this with that to enable easier filtering (not that it is particularly hard now).
Kudos to you, Sembiance. I'm using this in my project now. Its a real breeze to use, so 10 thousand thanks
As I am beginning to use angularJS personally/professionally, I thought I'd write a simple directive to render card text and casting cost. Pretty much just made the repo, so I still need to do examples/instructions (and frankly the css could be better), but it can be found here: https://github.com/omnihound/magic-symbol-directive
I tried this solo with my tribal cube and from what I remember it was a pretty good way to fishbowl some sealed deck archetypes. I used the hundreds of rules cards I have lying around for tokens, but I think its probably nicer to have actual zombie tokens lying around.
This ended up winning due to some pretty crazy Disturbed Burial shenanigans. I feel that the card may have to go; are there any suggestions for replacements? Also, Guul Draz Assassin is pretty much the stones.
Being the builder of the cube, I was pretty confident that I may win the draft (though I'm glad I didn't). Batterskull pretty much won most of my games; does that make it too powerful? Lost to the above deck due to not getting rid of his assassin. Didn't draw my few removal spells despite having both of the elf lords AND mirror entity

Been meaning to post my cube up for a while now. It started off as an experiment in cubing as a common/uncommon cube, and progressively changed in to a unpowered with a legendary tilt then in to tribal. It supports soldiers, merfolk, vampires, goblins and elves as well as other assorted secondary tribes. It probably needs the most help in the artifact area. Note I don't have alot of budget on this. Some other notes/stats/whatever to come later.
I had this idea too and decided to try this out. My initial thoughts versus the mono black horde deck is that in a cube filled out with alot of protection from black (or similar) creatures, white is going to be a pretty popular colour, while black is not so good. I took mtgpete's (the original article's author) advice to tone the deck down a bit (didn't have everything anyway), though the horde deck still managed a few close blow outs, despite having Brigid, Hero of Kinsbaile on the field (all of a sudden, the horde made a last ditch effort and flipped 6 zombies and had buffs). Also, Wave of Terror is a pretty fun card for the horde to use.
I am hoping they make a card that destroys all humans after seeing all the stuff that they set off. (Note: the card needs to be named "Destroy All Humans")
It sounds very similar to the various tribal and combo cubes that people have.
Are there enough proliferate cards to make it work?
card search tells me there are 14 proliferate cards, with 6 blue, 4 artifact and none white.
This is outside of other interesting cards like Doubling Season(Thanks Antknee!), Blowfly Infestation, and other possible things that shifts/makes more counters.

Thanks! I originally stole it from here (http://bluebones.net/2013/10/css-sprite-for-magic-the-gathering-mana-symbols/), but it didn't have a tap symbol so I resized BaconCatBug's png. I was sort of surprised no one else out there had done it.

Does this make blue too strong?
