I really like that idea. Might try my hand at making a thematic deck for her then that just attempts to stop my opponents from beating my face in with her since I can't afford really expensive combos or mana bases
hmm, sounds interesting, having her get sent around the table for basically lethal damage. But she seems to be built much better for a tribal shell so the collection of vows and other "This creature can't attack you" effects definitely would be great if you just want your opponents to punch eachother
I've been wanting to create a Karona, False God Commander deck to play with my playgroup but haven't been able to decide on a tribe I want to run with it. I've considered Elementals and Allies but there's an obvious better commander in Horde of Notions and General Tazri respectively. I've wanted to try Demons, Elves, Aetherborn and Skeletons but they don't cover all of the colors. Currently I'm leaning towards trying Licid Tribal (see Dominating Licid) since it seems interesting to build enchantment synergy but they don't get the buffs from Karona, or my other idea was Spirits but I'm afraid of it being too overpriced to build well.
Any deck or tribal suggestions would be appreciated, my desired budget is around 60 dollars if possible, but I'd be willing to splurge for slightly spendier cards, my playgroup has a varied power level ranging from The Locust God combo to unedited Faceless Menace precon so as long as the deck would be able to put up a fight it would be fine.
