Stack Wars is a casual variant for MTG created by Darin Vaughn Clarke

In the Stack Wars variant, each player must have a minimum of three decks of at least sixty cards each. The Stack Wars variant uses all the normal rules for a Magic game with the following exceptions: Players are only allowed a four card sideboard for each deck but may sideboard before any game.

There are two ways to play Stack Wars; Destiny or Fate.

In the Stack Wars Destiny variant each player secretly stacks his decks however he likes then both players reveal their stacks simultaneously. Players play through their stacks from top to bottom and the first player to kill all the other players decks wins. (Losers go first after each game and at the begining of each matchup)

In the Stack Wars Fate variant each player secretly stacks his opponents decks however he likes then both players reveal each others stacks simultaneously. Decks are randomly chosen for matchups and the first player to kill all the other players decks wins. (Losers go first after each game but players roll to see who goes first at the beginning of each matchup)

Deck matchups are best two out of three games. When a deck is defeated it goes to the cemetery (a.k.a. back in the players deck box) where it must reside for the remainder of the Stack War. When a deck is victorious it goes to the throne room where it must reside until after the next matchup has resolved at which point it goes back on top of it's owners stack.
