Ok, I wasnt sure if they triggered of the same life total but resolved separately, or if one triggers and resolves, then the other.
Follow up: if the creature with that ability is given double strike, would the ability trigger twice? Because technically double strike is the creature hitting twice, so two instances of player damage, correct?
If you have a creature with "when this creature deals damage to a player, that player loses half their life, rounded up" such as Virtus the Veiled, and then equip quietus spike, which gives equipped creature the same ability, do both instances trigger simultaneously, removing defender from the game? Or do they do they go on the stack separately, taking 3/4 of defender's life?
