My freinds and I are fairly new to MGT and we couldn't find a ruling that answered our question about the Dungeon Geists. The question I had is when Dungeon Giest is played it taps a target creature indefinitely until Dungeon Giest is destroyed or removed from play. I tapped a creature he controlled for a few turns but he had a card called Tenth District Veteran. This card when it attacked untappes a creature you control. So when he attacked me he untapped the creature that I had tapped using Dungeon Giest. The issue we had is we didn't know if it over ruled Dungeon Giests ability or if it went back to being tapped after his turn, if he can even untap it using his cards ability or if it completely overrules Dungeon Giests ability. It's a tough call as we are new to the game and we wanted to know how to proceed if this kind of play comes up again. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
