We were playing a game and my brother had Restoration Specialist on the board and I played Murder. Can he pay the 1 white mana to sacrifice it etc after I’ve casted murder?

    Sphinx of Magosi
When you pay the one blue and 2 other, you draw a card and put a +1/+1 on Sphinx Of magosi, would you put it on each named that or just the card you paid the mana of?

    Rule of Law
If you destroy it does that allow you to play as many cards as you can on that turn or do you finish that turn out with only being able to play one card?

I understand that but do they stay revealed as the piles are being made? Do they see which cards get put in what pile?

So I’m familiar with how Epiphany at the Drownyard generally works, I have another card that does something a little different but had the same general concept. What I don’t know is if when my opponent, or on said other card, I pick the piles, when choosing which piles goes where, can you look at the piles after they have been picked?
For example: So say I pay 5 mana and the 1 blue, I’d reveal 6 cards, make 2 piles, does my opponent then get to look at the piles before deciding which goes where?

Thanks guys! I thought so but I like to double check to make sure I’m playing 100% the right way.

So I was playing a game the other day with an older faerie card. I don’t know the exact name of the card but the text says “power and toughness are each equal to the amount of blue permanents you control”. Someone played Bond of Passion, text says “gain control of target permanent until end of turn. Untap that creature. It gains haste until end of turn. Bond of passions deals 2 damage to any other target.”. If the person I was playing with gained control of my faerie and had no blue permanents, would it’s power and toughness stay at what it was when I was controlling it or would it diminish down to zero, equal to his blue permanents, since he is now in control of it until end of turn?

Using card tags is mandatory in the Magic Rulings forum. Please check your private messages to learn how to use them. I've added them for this post.
