This is an extremely good version of this card.
Wrecks all tokens, removes mana rocks from the equation indefinitely,
and also detains problematic creatures, as always!
The primary issue here is that ability counters aren't evergreen, so why would a specific ability counter be? Note that when asked what counters he would call evergreen, MaRo said "+1/+1," so it's probably not a counter of an evergreen ability that he's referring to.
Now THIS is something that needed a reprint, unlike Mana Drain, Crucible, etc.
Or they all did.
There are other cards that needed a reprint MUCH more than those.
They need to let those cards recover some value so they’re actually usable in future reprint sets without being eyerollers.
I swear, it’s like most of y’all have no interest in the long-term health of this game.
They should focus on getting everything (non RL) below $200 before they crater previously $200 cards down to $20.
The days of reveals on this set have been a freaking rollercoaster,
from the useless, over-reprinted chaff of yesterday to stuff like this, Concordant Crossroads, and Warrior’s Oath.
It kinda reminds me of Void Snare in that way.

It’s essentially Command Tower #2 with a bonus protection ability!
Grab her up fast, if she’s popular in Standard her price may actually be above where it was before.
Original printings are usually the most valuable.
Awww yeah, +2/+2 counters, your time has come!
My condolences.
PP is a pet card, but I have a feeling it isn’t played much these days.

Is that what those “plain looking” ones are?
If so, I may need to buy a few of those as I kinda love them, especially the 2-color cards.
