Looks like some companies are desperate to keep outrage and infighting among their customers going so that word about their product spreads more rapidly...

Woke Product. Price increase. Artwork not as good as the original cards, Saskia in particular. I suggest to people not to buy these otherwise we will continue to get this sort of thing.

I honestly struggle to see the wokeness here. All of these women have pretty faces (subjective, I know), long hair and a fit physique. Yes, Saskia's right arm shows a huge biceps, but she still looks more feminine here than in her original art. So this could even seem a step away from the more recent wokeness pandering. Or is it supposed to be woke simply for coming out on women's day? I understand that the company is trying to cash in on social issues, but still. I mean, if all or at least some of the cards depicted an obvious animosity towards men or traditional gender depictions, I could see the point. That is not the case here, though.

So, if you hate cash grabs for being cash grabs, I get it. I just don't see this as much more of a cash grab than any other product meant to grab our cash. It's at least not as lazy as just reprinting cards with old art and then throwing in some random staples in 1 out of 1000 boosters.

As a man who loves men, I want men

So far, it doesn't seem like you have to worry about WotC or any other entertainment product company toning down on super-fit handsome men, so lucky you in that regard. More specific appreciation of same-sex couples could be expected, too, but they seem to still be rather timid in that regard. Well, Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis are a thing, but so far that's about the only explicit gay couple depiction I'm aware of. For the foreseeable future, it seems that non-binary or non-"beauty-industry"(?)-conform-female characters will receive more cards.

Either way, I hope you can still appreciate beautiful artwork of women on a purely aesthetic level, like beautiful landscapes for instance.

I mean, we KNOW they won't. lol This is WOTC we are talking about here. Not that I really care personally though anyways.

All I want is that sweet, sweet, Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Narset, Enlightened Master for my own EDH decks, and I would probably give the others away to friends and family. Assuming I even bother to get one as I am saving up for my marriage.

Lucky Joe indeed. Congrats to your upcoming marriage! If your significant other is into MtG, too, I can offer drawing a fantasy version of you à la Anax and Cymede or Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis.

I just knew I was going to hate this entire plane

Why, though? I'm not necessarily a big monster fan, but than there's some beautiful Vivien artwork, so that's nice.

What is it that you look for in a plane? Does it have to be heavily ancient Greece inspired?

To me, I hope to see elves, angels, vampires, fairies, dryads, vedalken and/or kor. That might be why I love Ravnica so much. Do we have a breakdown of species on Ikoria yet?

Here's the artist stitching all 15 of them together. Note how each of the two-color gods share one color with their neighbors.

Amazing art, just why did they mess up the color wheel?

Someone mentioned me? I didn’t see anything. Now I’m curious what it was lol

I guess since Flamebuster originally posted it publicly, he won't mind if I PM you the post, but I'd prefer being sure and getting his okay. I believe you might get a good laugh out of it, especially given your first comment in this thread.

Okay, Flamebuster sent me his original post and here is my response to it, in case someone followed that subelement of this discussion:

Me, in response to 'buster's original post, which referred to MTGS user Tiro of Meletis:
"Haha! I believe he might have gotten a good laugh out of it. I guess I kinda get what the moderators were concerned with here, though, so yeah. Still a funny comment in my view."

His post, in my view, was on topic and a funny reference to a well known member of this community.

'buster, would you mind pm-ing me what you wrote before before the snip? I'm 18+, so my mind should be able to withstand the terrors of your viewpoint. It might help me as a reference for any comments I might make in the future and I would deeply appreciate it.

It's yet another sign that you need to elect a president who stops throwing your tax dollars at corporations and the military industrial complex. There are people in the democratic race who have shown through their record and actions that they genuinely care about other people *cough*TulsiGabbard*cough* *cough*BernieSanders*cough*

While I'm happy to see that the Soldier tokens come come with a 'race' in addition to their 'class', I'm having a hard time accepting that a character that requires not one but two W to join your ranks carries the title "Sun's Nemesis", even if her archenemy is literally named after the sun.

Amazing card and also non-legendary? Wow.

Also, nice "fanservice" to please players who are into physically fit men.

Is it right though that this has 'Dryad' in its name, yet not in the creature type? A quick scryfall.com search seems to support that and it irritates me as it would be a powerful addition to the dryad commander deck I built for my wife (I refuse to put off-tribe cards into my tribal decks).
