    I have been trying to slim down the deck, I might have to drop Foe-Razer Regent, or one of my Atarka, World Render's.

    added more lands, and I cant get anymore llanowar elves cause all my stores are out of stock, and I cant find any more that I own.

    I'll keep at it. Thanks

    My biggest issue, however, is cost. I can try to build the best dragon deck, but my options for buying anything I don't have, which is usually a lot, are either not in stock or too expensive.

    Your previous build hit the nail on the head for everything, until I looked for the cards, and found most are out of stock.

    Anyway, Ill keep at it, and thank you again for the advice.

    Thank you for such solid advice. I will see what changes I can make.

    Btw, I took a better look at the decklist you gave me. I did not even think about how good exiling creatures for re-triggers could be. Having a potentially green red blue deck, with Atarka, and bouncing it could be really good. Thank you for that.

    Ill do my best to improve this deck, slim it down and make the creatures work better with eachother.

    This is my first draft. The idea is to use Llanowar elves and Domri, as well as grow from the ashes to ramp into big dragons early, while making them uncounterable, then giving them haste using the cartouche to hit opponents quickly. The plummet is to remove any flying blockers, puncturing blow for things that come back from the graveyard. Counterspells are to stop one of my mates from his favourite trick, plummeting, or using the Archetype of Imagination to ground all my dragons. Naturalize are to prevent pacifizms, another favourite trick of his. The seeming random creatures, eg. nest robber and invading manticore are there for the mana curve and budget reasons

    My hope is that with a nut hand, the first four turns go like this:
    Turn 1: Play a forest, tap it to play a llanowar elves
    Turn 2: Play a mountain, Tap the forest, mountain and llanowar elves to play domri.
    Turn 3: Play a land, Tap out, plussing domri as well, to play Grow from the Ashes kicked, to get a mountain and an island
    Turn 4: Play a land, then tapo out to play any dragon in the deck, and attach a cartouche of zeal

    I know it doesn't always go like that, but this is a first draft. We usually play with decks around 70-80 cards (I know, a lot) so I might have to add in some more lands.

    Advice? What do you all think?

    @Prid3

    That list looks awesome. Might make some tweaks, but I mean, what do dragons do? They fly around and burn things (or zap then, freeze them, eat them or poison them, as I hear it goes in Tarkir!). That list really just does what is says on the box, really really well. I love it!!!

    @Thjs1301

    Yeah, I saw the Ur Dragon, and thought at first that it was fake! Eminence, never heard of that ability! However, I have since seen the Precon for Draconic Domination. Because of that precon, I wanted to make a real Dragon deck. But not just any old dragon deck, something that really shows people what dragons in magic can do. whether that be in mono red dragons, multi coloured, such as Rakdos or Jund, or something completely different. I want to show my mates that not only can I make a deck, but can do it with the dragons in the game that I really love using

    Thanks both for the tips. Ill try a build. I see there is a decklist section in the forums/site. Will have to post it there eh?

    Hey Forums.

    I really wanted to build a dragon deck for casual games with my mates. However, I am a bit newer to the game than I'd like to be and have little experience deck building.

    I usually play with two mates in an all for themselves type game.
    My one mate likes using decks that use selesnya type synergy to put enough creatures down to win the long game and not be a target early

    The other loves two deck types. The first is anything that looks towards control, particularly in blue and white. The other, stompy red green or green white creatures.

    I really want to make a deck that can hold it's own against these playstyles but I also want to stay within an reasonal budget (nz dollars). Can anyone help me out?
