If you opened the box with the intention of selling the singles off, this is not a great investment. There are only 4 cards over $100, and only 7 total over $40 (per mtggoldfish). You probably won’t get all of them, and even if you did, you’d still only be around $800 or so, assuming you can sell them for market value. There were no foils yet in the game, so can’t bank on those, either.

If you have the money to spend, and you just want to crack an old set, I’d say steer clear of this. $2,000 is enough to buy 20 boxes of Kalheim, or of another standard-legal set, which will give you significantly more value for much less of a cost.

Link cuts off the top of the card? Any better picture?

What's confusing to me, and what could have a lot of weird rules corner cases, is what are these when they are in your library or hand. Can you search it up with an expedition map or a mystical tutor?

IIRC You can use both to find this card.

watch the video again. He states that it is only the spell unless you play it as a land. Library? Spell... Hand? Spell... Graveyard? Spell... Stack? Spell. Does not count as a land in any way unless you play it as a land

Nope. You play the card either as a land or as the spell. If you cast it as the spell, it goes into the graveyard after resolving

If budget is a concern, and you don’t have the funds to buy a new deck every few months with the new set releases, I would wait. In this rotation more than half of the card pool is rotating out, including a large number of current staple cards that you need.

I’d wait until at least a few weeks after the new set comes out to see how the mega shakes out, as there is often a lot of power-struggling in the top tiers early on

I’d guess that it is because BS has both abilities, so most people assume that they have to go together

    1) yes - his ability triggers at the end of your turn, so it doesn’t matter if you controlled him the whole time or not, as long as you control him when the trigger happens.

    2) yes. AW gives you the energy counters when everything leaves play, including itself

Current fetches get any land that has the land types, which includes the Amonkhet cycle lands and Shock lands, among others. He’s saying lands that would get you only basic lands

It depends on what you want to play. If you’re talking standard, $100 should be enough for a solid competitive deck. If you’re talking about modern or legacy, that budget is going to be tough.

If you’re looking at EDH, you could probably make 2, if not 3 decent decks with that money as long as you’re willing to run cheap tapped lands. Most of my commander decks were in the $20-$50 range when I built them, and have just expanded with draft chaff and other random collection building purchases.

If Drakuseth, Maw of Flame is given double strike, would his ability activate twice?
Take note that Drakuseth's ability does not 'activate'; it triggers.

Triggered abilities are somewhat out of your control: they come to life 'because something happened'.
Drakuseth, for example, will deal a bunch of damage 'because it attacked'.
When it attacks, it triggers, whether you like it or not.

Activated abilities, on the other hand, are fully under your control: they come to life 'because you say so'.
Metropolis Sprite, for example, will gain +1/-1 if, and only if, you say 'I want my sprite to gain +1/-1 and I will pay the blue mana'.

    See rules 602 & 603 for details.

To phrase it a little more simple...

Triggered abilities generally have the words “If, When, At” in them, and are ‘triggered’ by something happening. I.e. - When __ dies... At the beginning of combat... If you would draw a card...

Activated abilities have a cost, and you choose when to do them. They are worded as “2B: Draw a card”
