It became that when spending 1RG, and eliminating your opponent's board position allowed you to swing for 9 or more damage unblocked.
Do you run enough red sources to make that a legit addition? The mana base is so skewed as it is to get all 3 colors that i dont see the 2-3 gemstone mines, and birds to be sufficent enough to have it main deck against ground pounding weenie...
I had Cavaliers in my build for a few weeks, and including Regionals; they were by far the weakest card in the deck. They never actually do anything. Everything else in the deck wins games, or assists in winning games. Cavaliers is just meh.
The only argument that I can come up with for including them is that they live through the most prominent removal, whether it be Nameless or Firespout. And typically takes two burn spells to remove, since a good red player will save his Flame Javelins for Colossus.
Well considering every deck has a "weakest card" and that this one SURVIVES the two most prominent removal spells... Plus has synergy with Doran, Plus the fact that it typically gets two-for-oned according to your logic above... I see no problem with it.
And if you want enchantment removal for bitterblossom, wouldn't Krosan Grip be a better choice in the SB?
Im still working on the sideboard... I havent really had a good SB to go off of and tinker with so thats just a bleh spot.
As for the Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers I havent been let down yet. as another three drop, it is great against aggro and has good synergy with Doran. PLus the vigilance is something opponents dont particularly suspect, because its not made really any MDs anywhere.
So i was tinkering around with all the enchantments availible in T2, and found that there might be some potential in there somewhere. So with 30 minutes to spare i threw together this:
Seemingly underwhelming at first it has quite the tenacity in alot of games, having \easy ways of simply finding the "answers". Zur has the potential to dig up alot of these answers on his own.
I run 3 along with 3 doran and 2 chameleon, i find its better to find answers with that setup. because it gives more room for kill spells.
Slowpoke rolled out of the way only getting clipped by the water.
"ALright slowpoke, fire another confusion at it."
SLowpoke built up another confusion and set its sight on the Marill, letting the beam go.

There are a few viable one drops in this that depending on the supporting cast of cards, could be really good to fit that role.

Any thoughts?
The slowpoke took in a deep breath as its mouth filled with water, blasting it at the downed maril hoping to get a hit on it.

Dingo whips out his pokedex and pointed at the little blue guy.
"MARIL. get it Slowpoke, hit it with a confusion."
Slowpoke faced the Marill and let a confusion beam rip right at it.
