Fair enough, I am just hopeful RTR onward is enough to define a format that sets itself apart with benefits that crossover less into modern. I am looking forward to seeing how this unfolds.
I want to like the idea of this new format, but I think it is going to have to much of a modern feel to it (fast) with empty holes. I personally would have been excited to play a new format if they would have started the card pool from Kaladesh onward. I see Kaladesh as the beginning of a new era in magic. I think there could have been a lot of good to come out of a potentially slower clock and maybe a turn 5 format. Now, I could just be biased since I am vested in modern so much. I hope this new format helps LGS's and doesn't hurt them more than WTC already has in the last year or so.
I played two local tournaments this weekend with GW infect. First one I spilt 2-2 (won against dredge and humans; loss against affinity and humans). Second one I went 3-1 (win against humans twice and UW control ; loss against Elves.
I won when I could keep an early glistener on board, had Giver for protection, or had Inkmoth to fly over. I lost if I didn't have Giver or an Inkmoth.
I only mulled to five once otherwise to six if needed. I kept what I thought were good hands but lacking a Giver or an Inkmoth in the games I lost.
>> Is it therefore advisable to mull for a shot at Giver or Inkmoth in starting hand with GW Infect?
>> Should I replace Ichorclaw with Blighted and change up the lands to run bant?
>> I really like Giver in the deck or is she just not worth it?
From my previous deck list post I am thinking about using 3 Thoughtseize MB in place of 3 Smallpox, and pulling Yahenni's and Ashiok's and adding 3 Death's Shadow and 1 Hogaak.
I have put together the following cards from my collection and I am interested in the opinions from others here. I am curious if I should include more fetch lands or eliminate them all together? My local meta is rather fast t3-4 kills are frequent, notable decks are G-Tron, E-Tron, Breach Titan, Dredge, Burn, and Zoo along with some brew decks that fall into midrange, aggro, and control. Overall advice on my deck and sideboard are welcome and appreciated!

Any thoughts on this?
