the few times i have done anything like the OP, the person behind the counter simply pocketed the money.
kindness does not exist anymore. If it does, it means little to the person it was towards.
My reason: every time i have been kind in my life, ive been spat at. I buy a guy a packet of crisps for no reason. Wasnt asked, wasnt suggested, nothing., but what does he tell me? quote-"wow. You're really weak and easy to manipulate."
I buy a girl a gift (A small teddy bear) just cuase i felt like it. What do i get told? again, quote-"why did you buy me such a cheap teddy bear?"
I offer a guy i know a helping hand while everyone else tells him to get away from them, while he needs the help, and has asked for it. He, tells me that i am not worth his time, but in ruder words.

I personaly think that textler permanents are possible, but only if they are staple. Like Goyf or birds.
Next textless - i would say... Hmm... The alara rare that becomes a staple. Like CC was, for example. Right now its early to tell. Maybe... Hallowed burial seems possible
I keep everything. I add up to 4 copies of anything into my permanent collection, and toss the rest into some boxes. I use the excess cards for proxies, giving away to new players, making life counters or 3D cards out of, or building simple decks to teach people how to play.
Im on a tight bugdet, so duals taiges or fetchlands are out. Thoughtsieze too. What i was thinking was using 4 Savage lands or 2 Forests backed up by Jund panoramas. But im concerend on the impact that will have on my tempo. The last thing i want is to loose my tempo.
As for the mad auntie and goblin king route, that is gunuinely ineffective for me. I run 3 of each. But Often the decks using them in my area run 3 in the sideboard or have tutor effects, so often im facing off 2. Splashing green or white may be my best course of action. But the three colour route is somewhat undesirable.
Im lookin for a way for a R/B legacy goblin aggro to deal with Engineered plague. It cuases me untold greif at tournaments. Is there a way without having to splash another colour? idealy i want a sideboard card.
im still luaghing about that. At least he isnt a bad card(Ive got many uses for him anyway)

If its either im going to cry sad depsessed tears. We need good rares. Not overcosted timmy cards or a situational oneshot.
