  • posted a message on What's your MTG budget?
for me, i have to juggle my magic budget and my warhammer 40k budget, currently, most of the moeny i egt is going towards warhammer (i get a couple new models every two-three months). magic i buy a booster when i have the cash to spare, but the problem is, the distributors in my country are having problems distributing, so its difficult to find new boosters (the most recent at my LGS is alara reborn).

most of my magic boosters come from tournament winnings. However, occasionally, i will spend money on singles for my EDH, (im currently building a legacy burn deck to break the monotony of playing goblins all the time)

so on average my magic budget is about the equivalent of $10 a month, maybe more, with the warhammer being the equivalent of $10-$20 a month.

For the first one - Fetal could be intentional, implying that the creature is childlike or incompletely developed. Of course, feral would also work. For the second one, I'm not sure what you think is a mistake? It means that the only freedom he has remaining is the freedom to rage. It's just worded in an unusual way.

i believe the problem with graven is it should say

"rage is the only freedom left to me"

If you want a cheesy flavour text, you should be looking at Gorilla Titan.

I actually made a pretty solid millfolk deck back in Lorwyn days, the best kill i had was turn 4 to mill opponents whole library.

sadly, i took about 10 cards out and cannot remember what they were, so the deck is now incomplete.

but i say this to make the point that you can make a solid mill deck without Jace 2.0 (i DID however use jace 1.0)

My vote goes to the phyrexians for thier backstory, the fact they have always been with magic, and the fact they are some of the best villains ever

Wow. I'm 100% sold on fighting for Mirrodin.

"The five suns will never shine on a Phyrexian World." - Awesome.
"We will endure." - Yes, we will.

Bring it on Phyrexia, we'll be ready!

Somebody with the name of one of the best sci-fi villians of all time, siding with the enemies of some of the best fantasy villains of all time?

    shame on you Wink

    Anyway, on topic

The phyrexian video just makes me more eager for them to win. We need those guys back, i've missed them Tongue

I like to think that Hex and Assault Strobe are two pieces of a hilarious flavor text cycle-in-progress.

Personally, i think they are really cheesey and should have been different.

hey guys, i'm looking for a goblin based sig banner.

I would like one with the From the vault : exiled goblin lackey, The onsluaght Goblin Piledriver with the From The Vault : Relics AEther vial in the center.

Can you put the flavour text of Goblin Assault somewhere on the banner in suitably Gobliny text. I will trust your judgment on finding the right place and text style.

    Thank you in advance

The man got 5 cobras, 36 fetch lands

is it just me, or does 36 fetches out of 2 boxes seem rather unlikely?

Edit: also, why would you sit in a bathtub and open two boxes?

Looks like Phyrexia as spread to the MYR! (The last line of defense against Phyrexia has fallen).

We'll see what's up, these preview arts are pretty uesless.

Have you tried Limited? Me and my friends do a casual draft fairly frequently. It guarantees that you're not facing the exact same decks, and while it's got some investment required, it also builds up a new card pool to build different decks from.

There two problems there,1 i dont know anywhere where i can play Limited, and 2, i cant really afford it. right now im trying to biuld up an army for warhammer, and thats eating up my cash.

How does cube work? ive never really heard of it and i have a decent collection (not that many rares, alot of them are in decks) and im sure my friends and i can combine our collections.

Edit: also, we already play EDH, but since my friend built a sliver EDH I've stopped playing it because his deck is too broken for the game to be fun
