You'd be surprised how many people think I drink... A lot.

If I had to guess, I would say that it's a surprising number of people. :p

Anyone else like Mindless Self Indulgence (the band)?

    Please note: I don't drink. :3 Ever.

I haven't un-noted it since the last few times you mentioned it. Wink

I don't know if something bad will happen or not, which is the problem. I'm not a very entertaining drunk, either :p

Fair. That was one of the reasons I swore off booze for so long myself. I've found that more often than not, the result of me+booze=hilarity. YMMV of course. I don't know what to say about not being very entertaining while drunk, though. Fortunately it's not one of my many problems. :p

Danger Days is still my cut loose song. :3

It plays in my head in my less sane moments. >:3

If I had to pick a theme song for my drunken adventures, it'd probably be a pretty close tie between these two. (Warning:Links contain inappropriate language)

I'm glad someone else appreciates the finer things in life such as drunken nonsense.

Normally I try to not post when drunk to avoid bad things from happening Tongue

How do you know something bad will happen? This thread has tons of examples of awesome posts made by people who or may or may not be me made under the influence of varying amounts of booze.

Sadly, I'm not a drinker, but I can bring fun along Smile

Yeah, I'm on vacation myself so unfortunately I can't supply the nonsense. But Fun. is good too.

Thanks. I'll need it if <128 people show up.

This thread needs more drunken nonsense.

First comp REL event since Miami this weekend. I'm either judging if we get 128 players (unlikely based on the fact there's a Classic in Albany the same day) or playing this deck (ctrl+f LaForest) card for card.

Really hoping we get 128 players.

It's been so quiet lately here.

    Almost too quiet.

I'm trying to write a book. Well, it's not a book in the traditional sense.

What about? I've got a million half-finished chapter 1's of various stories saved as drafts in my inbox myself, I just never have the patience to actually finish anything.

I'm a little late on noticing, but the Izzet finally got retired. Kinda bummed about that :-/.

Eh, I'd be significantly more disappointed if it had happened like, 2 or so years ago. It was so ready to go, it had basically fallen off of the branch.

Hope all are doing well. Grin

Well, I'm definitely alive, but I wouldn't say I'm well. My sleep schedule has been way too messed up for me to untap my white sources in time to cast any split cards recently. Or many cards in general. I haven't played much magic at all besides a Winston Draft with my friend last Wedsday night and the Modern Masters Draft the Tuesday before. Ended up going 3-1 with mediocre BW rebels (only 3 searchers and 1 bound in silence). My only loss was to the lucksack who had 4 Errant Epheremerons passed to him (2 wheeled) with DI kill spells. Must be nice to be that good at Magic. Rolleyes

So long, Izzet! Sorry to see it end this way.

Thanks to everyone who stuck it out till the bitter end and to everyone who made the past Izzet clan threads as fun and awesome as they were!

While I was watching an M14 draft match, I noticed that one player had a single land in play and several in his graveyard. I looked over at his opponent's graveyard and saw a demolish and bramble crush. The player with one land started to say, "If I win this game somehow, I am going to tease you about it fore-" right as his opponent tapped 4 mana for a second bramble crush. The first player immediately picked up his cards and slammed them onto the table.

I made sure to tell him that it looked like it had been a "crushing defeat" before I started laughing my ass off.

What the heck? I go away for a while and things fall apart?

Sorry I've been away. Life has been complicated. How is everyone?

I've been on a forced hiatus from a few of my favourite things for a while now. Trying to figure out what to do with all of my free time and money while I wait for college courses to start in the fall.

Eh. Same thing really. That's how parents work. Make your child as paranoid as possible and... Good... Stuff?

My parents are definitely pretty good at. I hear all sorts of stories about kids my age being kidnapped on their way back home walking at night.
