I fail to see how gutturla response is anything but horrible vs faeries. It counters 1 card. So awful. Vexing Shusher is also very terrible, as a 2/2 for 2 is very unimpressive. It's ability is so irrelevant.
Raking Canopy is obnoxious but is easily answered by cryptic command. Firespout is less good than either cloudthresher or sulfurous blast, because it can only be cast on the main phase.
Bascially Faeries is still tier 1, if not the deck to beat. As a result, I don't see reveilark coming back from extinction.
This guy is so correct. Guttural Response only counters 1 card.
By this logic, force of will is also crap.
Vexing shusher is unimpressive too. Because counterspells will still counter your stuff.... ok i cant even pretend to justify this one.
IMO Canopy is good, not that good, its the whole, "Hey, RDW looks like the deck to beat!" problem.
With all the creatures (20ish, and bitterblossom) do you really want to run 4x Damnation? I know the player rewards are pretty, but you don't neccissarrily need to play them.
Let me explain the deck.
Tarmogoyf is the best card in the format. Period. So what's the best way to keep him alive? Regeneration. He never dies. Period. Think about it. MTG is basically a game of resources. You convert lands to mana, mana to nonland permanents, in order to kill them. So, basically you can drop all of your stuff on turn 1. It makes you come out faster, and you have an insane curve. I've seen some crazy plays such as:
Turn 1: Herbal Poultice
Turn 2: Herbal Poultice x3
Turn 3: Herbal Poultice x5
The sideboard is simple. You side in March for the mirror match, and squire for the finkel matchup.
I've been testing on MWS, and it has never lost. As soon as its obvious what I'm doing, my opponent scoops.
Edit: Sorry mods, I meant to put this in competitive.
I recently won a limited fnm with a strategy like this. My deck was:
12 Poultice
10 Exiled Boggart
1 Foil Poultice
Swamps
Needless to say, it got me into the finals. It was amazing.
Game one, played some boggarts, played some poultices.
I had some more poultices in hand though, because I was pretty sure he had spring cleaning. So he starts to attack with a firebelly changeling, and I block. He says, "discard a card." I say no. He inquires why, and I show him, yelling "C-c-COMBO! My herbal poultices are practically cantripping!" To which he replied, "I think I'm tripping!"
Game two I played herbal poultice... foil. He conceded.
I've been testing whiteclay, and he's proven AMAZING.
Untapping isn't a problem for 2 reasons:
1. He has a big butt.
2. No one blocks anyways, and if they aren't attacking, then you're winning anyway.

Card disadvantage for the win!

Finkel doesn't shuffle. He causes the cards to mill about in panic.
IMO, not constructed playable.
