    Hey man

    Sorry about the late response, have been roaming the local game stores and tried to trade my way to some of the cards so it wouldn't be too heavy on the wallet.

    I've actually managed to get quite many of the needed cards (se attached, all the highlighted cards are now in my possession and the once with "()" around them have been substituted as you helped me with in your previous messages.)

    The cards I now need are:

    Rhys the Redeemed - as we spoke about, this card is not necessary as I am not in a hyber competitive playgroup
    Norin the Wary - not the most expensive card, can easily buy
    Thalia, Guardian of Thraben - left out because as you mentioned it's a non-bo
    Dack Fayden
    Selvala, Heart of the Wilds - Left out as previously discussed
    Azusa, Lost but seeking - We spoke about Mina and Denn, Wildborn, but I actually own a Exploration and Burgeoning, so it wouldn't be a cost to use either of these.
    Jace, the mind sculptor
    Nicol Bolas, Dragon-god
    Sidisi, Undead Vizier - going to buy
    Teferi, Temporal Archmage
    Seedborn Muse
    Nicol Bolas, the Ravager // Nicol Bolas, the Arisen

    I thought I had all the fetches I did not sadly... but trying to get them!

    Hope you're enjoying the summer Smile

    Hi man,

    So still kind of set on this deck.

    So I've been looking at some budget replacements and wanted to hear what your thoughts are and whether it would make the deck a total disaster.

    Three Visits ---> Wood Elves
    Tetsuo Umezawa ---> Kess, Dissident Mage
    Scroll Rack ---> Hidden Retreat
    Noble Hierarch ---> Druid of the Anima
    Bloom Tender ---> Rattleclaw Mystic
    Azusa, Lost but Seeking ---> Exploration / Mina and Denn, Wildborn

    I have no good budget replacement for these:

    Jace, the Mind Sculptor
    Teferi, Temporal Archmage
    Selvala, Heart of the Wilds

    But I am sadly going to have to cut them, I might buy them later on, but for now they're too expensive.

    Do you think these changes and takesouts will ruin the deck completely?

    Furthermore for the mana base, I have all the Shock and Fetch lands (except Misty Rainforest) and I thought about swapping out the original dual lands probably for the Cyclings lands as they can b searched for with fetch lands. Luckily I don't play in a super competitve playgroup so I can take a tempo downgrade. Smile

    Furthermore, what has your experience been with playing this deck, is it fun? are you doomed if someone continuously removes Sisay and what has mainly been your wincon in the games?

    And of course happy friday Grin

    Now you've made me uncertain whether I want to build your Yawgmoth deck or this one ... Grin

    Great post!

    Thank you for the detailed run down and swift reply! Smile This definitely helps.

    I actually have a few of the cards you mentioned which are expensive, Urborg, Entomb, Marsh Flats, Vesuva and I can probably get some of the others through mates.

    I don't necessarily want to win by planeswalkers, I just want to have a lot of different ways to win. Running down my opponent with a horde of Zombies seems like a blast aswell, or winning through a massive Gray Merchant of Asphodel also seems fun in a game, I just don't want it to be like that every game.

    When it comes down to it all I just think I want to have one deck, where I can say to myself, this game i want to overwhelm my opponents with a giant horde of Zombie and the next I want to combo a one-shot in direct damage etc.. A hard task for a commander deck, but I have a Zur cycling deck, which is just the same everytime. One plan straight a head, get the combo pieces and go of.

    This deck is the closest I've seen to fulfill this mission of mine, since it can do a lot of cool stuff and having a lot of fun games, without seeming like the same sunset every night.

    My mate told me that it would be easier to have a lot of different decks so I could just swap when I wanted to go aggro e.g. or into my Zacam deck when I wanted to play combo, sadly I just don't have the resource to make several decks.

    Again thank you so much for putting the time into your reply Smile

    Hi man,

    First of really enjoy your content, very well structure and it definitely seems like you put in a lot of time and effort into creating your articles.

    I am in a small playgroup where we all really only have 1 or 2 decks and I am kind of tired of having a deck that wins the same way everytime, that's what got my attention to your build on Yawgmoth, with the capability of "winning" or getting a head and having some super fun turns with the different planeswalker ultimates.
    I was wondering whether, as with you Zacama article you have a budget build for Yawgmoth (around the 160 $ mark) and if you don't already consider it, a 75% build?

    Kind regards
