I cast a spell, my opponent cast Counterspell, i play Twincast on his Counterspell and use the copy to counter the Counterspell. Would this be correct?
But then i decided i wanted to make something else of it.
Since there were a few landfall cards i left out of the list (because i used them in a Omnath landfall deck), i tought maybe if i add the ones related to tokens and a bunch other things token-related, i could take good old Yarok in a different direction.
And then i need to get the CMC down, as it is now the curve is too high for my onw good.
Ideas are welcome, just take into account this doesn't want to be s competitive deck in any way (but i guess that's already clear by some of my choices xD).
For example, with something like Soul Foundry, i get to imprint two cards if i want (since there is a may), but how mucho should i pay to activate the ability? Should i choose one creature, pay its cost and get a token, do i pay one (wichever i want?) and get two tokens, do i pay the cost of the two and get two tokens, or if a imprint two cards i can't activate to make tokesn?
For another example, does Semblance Anvil let me exile two cards so i can get reduced cost on extra different card types (i know they are not accumulative)?
Well, thanks in advance and sorry for my english, it's not my first language.
Hey, i just finished reading the thread (been reading it in my spare time the last few days).
I have a Tolsimir deck, liked him as it was spoiled in WAR and build myself somenthing out of him. I don't have my decklist here with me but i'll point out a few cards that weren't mentionet yet (i play them, tough i have put little test to this deck as i have a other decks and can't playtest as much as i would want).
Lupine Prototype is a somewhat strange card that looks awful but can be usefull if you have it when you are low on resources.
Ulvenwald Tracker works as a somewhat replacement for Tolsimir in a pinch, or to reuse the fighting capabilities of wolves already in the battlefield.
I choose to run Collective Blessing, Obelisk of Urd and Dictate of Heliod instead of the anthems. They are high CMC but provide a more significant boost to creatures, either for the fighting or for combat purposes.
One card i would like to include is Wolf-Skull Shaman, but even playing with a number of changeling creatures (for wolf-elf-ally support) i don't see it triggering all that much :(.
From Core2020 i would likely get Ferocious Pup, Nightpack Ambusher, Season of Growth, Shared Summons, Howling Giant and Wolridder's Saddle, tough ill have to see what (if any) can go into the deck (the Saddle is too flavorfull to pass but sadly not to usefull :/ ).
I'll test my deck this weekend and upload my list afterwards :).
EDIT: Got myself some free time so i'll upload my list as it is now (including proxys for Core 2020 :P).
I think that the biggest challenge is going to be finding a way to make the token theme work with the artifact theme. I'm not so sure that the two are really that compatible, but challenges like this can sometimes make for some really interesting decks. At a minimum, just searching for cards can push you in the right direction.
Good luck!
This was my main concern, as i didn't think the two had enough in common to make then work (at least in this colors, if we were talking about blue and red the story would be different).
I have been searching for a different way to use tokens for a while, so Emmara, Rhys and Trostani were options i have already studied, as they are some of the most common commanders for creature tokens in those color... So i tryed to see the problem from another angle, and researched decks with artifact themes (artifacts, equipment, vehicles [wich, on a side note, make me discover Sydri, Galvanic Genius wich was almost all i wanted save for the fact that is has black and blue but not green... ]). And them it came to me: Golems!
There are a few interesting Splicer creatures in white (and one or two in green) that create golem tokens when they enter the battlefield. There also are artifacts that get counters wich you use to creater golems. Them i started looking for golem creatures, and there are some interesting ones. So i'll try to see what can i make of this; Golems were a tribe i actually wanted to make a deck about, but didn't gave them attention enough to see what could be made. It seems now is the time :).
I don't think there is a selesnya commander that cares about artifacts, so i can use any commander that fits the colors.
Aside from the obvious that it would care about making tokens (artifact creature tokens would be the most efective, but focussing on just artifact tokens could also be possible), i don't have much idea what to use.
Maybe lots of rocks to accelerate, some big artifacts with effects that hamper my oponnents, and them something to make them creatures? Things like Liquimetal Coating and synergetic cards (Viridian Revel, Glissa Sunseeker, Naturalize to destroy things from my oponents, tough that wouldn't be much synergetic with the token things)?
Mycosynth Lattice would make everything be able to activate Mirrorworks even tough the tokens wouldn't be artifacts, right?
Any suggestion would be greatly aprecciated (and sorry for the english, it's not my native language)

So this is how is looks now:
1 Yarok, the Desecrated

And the cards i want to add (as soon as i get then):
1 Bojuka Bog (instead of Scavenger Grounds)
1 Panharmonicon
1 Minion Reflector
1 Dual Nature
1 Crafty Cutpurse
1 Mimic Vat
1 Soul Foundry
Though i don't know what i'll replace.
And then i need to get the CMC down, as it is now the curve is too high for my onw good.
Ideas are welcome, just take into account this doesn't want to be s competitive deck in any way (but i guess that's already clear by some of my choices xD).
My question is, how does Yarok, the Desecrated work with things with Imprint?
For example, with something like Soul Foundry, i get to imprint two cards if i want (since there is a may), but how mucho should i pay to activate the ability? Should i choose one creature, pay its cost and get a token, do i pay one (wichever i want?) and get two tokens, do i pay the cost of the two and get two tokens, or if a imprint two cards i can't activate to make tokesn?

The Wanderer was already mentioned, but there is also Mark of Asylum that works in a similar fashion.
