I came up with a really similar card as this one about a decade ago, except it was an aura and stopped loyalty abilities from being used on top of making the PW into a creature with P/T = to the counters. That way you could suit up your walkers to swing in or stop an opponent's from doing much anymore.
Lurrus was a real problem when combined with Kolaghan's Command. The card advantage engines using Mishra's Bauble and Urza's Saga with Lurrus were simply too consistent and too easy.
Would love to see a new game-type where you get to start with both a background and a class enchantment in the command zone.
Gromph is a great character, would be difficult to make a card out of him with an accurate power-level without the card costing 8+ mana.
