Risen Reef seems kind of bat***** in decks that can produce lots of elemental tokens? It's a bit expensive and easy to remove, but notably triggers once on its own ETB so it's not a complete waste even if it's bolted, and if it isn't there's a real good chance you lay down Chandra, Acolyte of Flame or Young Pyromancer the next turn and start drawing/ramping.
Also, could Scheming Symmetry be the card that finally enables Modern Miracles?
So what's the chance we're off on the numbers and that last land slot is come kind of rare 5C snow land?
Zero. We know how to count to 53 and 15 and we know how print sheets work. The entire rare/mythic sheet is accounted for. 237 is either common or uncommon.
I was not aware that the numbers were quite that set in stone, and had seen people talking about there maybe being more rares than usual in threads like this before.
As someone who loves sacrifice-based Zombie tribal decks, I'm ridiculously excited for Carrion Feeder. It and Undead Augur are huge buffs to my weird homebrews.
The colored mana *requires* Convoke, but it seems like the deck that plays this can get that from Bloodghasts or whatever. How early can Dredge cast this big spicy boi?
Snow checks would be cool. "ETB tapped unless you control another Snow permanent". Could even give them basic land types so they can be fetched. Means you have to fetch a snow basic first, but that's not too bad.
It was? For some reason I was thinking it was never quite good enough.
I'm not as up on the meta as I used to be, though.

Vesperlark seems pretty good value.

Ah, fair enough.
Why ain't that a 16/16? : p
