At first I was like "Eh" but then I realized that this is a manland that grows every time you activate it, that can dodge bolt because of the "may", can be activated multiple times in a turn for some decks, and has no color requirements.
Like, does Tron run any manlands? It should run this one.
The fact that he's free if you have Ragemonger out is nice, but he otherwise doesn't seem to do much that a hypothetical Minotaurs deck would want in Pioneer.
I'm still pretty disappointed they decided to drop minotaur tribal.
Weird that we haven't gotten even one actual rare cow yet.
Didn't seem to be a thread for this yet. I mean, understandably since it's probably not seeing play outside of limited, but it helps people tell if all the cards have been spoiled today, right? : p
Have they said anything about how many are available? Also, should magicstore.wizards.com be an actual website instead of a blank password request, or is something wrong on my end?
I honestly don't think this sounds like a bad product, if they print more than twelve of them this time.
If you look closely, you'll note that all of the etb effects so far are actually trading one thing for another. White trades a permanent on the field for a creature, Red trades cards in your hand for cards in your deck, Black trades one of your creatures for the destruction of an opponent's creature. Some of these are certainly better than others, but thematically they're all tradeoffs.
Bone Splinters is kind of weak, but the rest of the card is solid enough that it works anyway.
I feel like new Sorin is better off accelerating a bit into CMC4-5 vampires like Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet and Blood Baron of Vizkopa that you can still play if you don't draw him. All of the higher-CMC vampires aren't really that much better than them to justify being completely dead if you don't draw Sorin. He also wants to be able to use his first two abilities, so "Vampire Tribal that sometimes cheats in a 5 mana bomb on t3" seems a lot better than trying to jank combo out a... What? Garza Zol, Plague Queen? Morophon from the new set? Admittedly Morophon doesn't seem too awful, but the way you have to build your deck around it seems like it'll be clunky.
I also doubt, but I'd love if it were true. Goyf would almost certainly be an ok card at best in Standard, and such a wide printing would hopefully bring prices down even further.

Should be the last spoiler for the day.
Seems cool : o
