i can always get behind choosing jeskai :D. eldrazi tron is certainly one of my less preferred matchups though. post board angel package (lyra/baneslayer) does a lot of work though.
if im ever looking to expand my collection and get a new modern deck, amulet would def be on the short list (or a deck very much like it in this theoretical future).
your GBx comment is spot on with my perspective. the archetype has SOME good stuff going on and it CAN win, but every time i play against GBx on UWx now it feels like a whole lotta struggling on their end without the reward. i used to dread discard into lotv, constantly struggling to pull ahead on raw card count. now its just 'whaddup jace! whaddup teferi! lets hit up azcanta!'. snapcaster can finally rest from his burden of propping up the deck.
Yes, that is so true now. There is nothing you can do against a top deck Teferi and you can't find an Assassin's trophy before an emblem, and sometimes even get the trophy just to get it countered.
Thanks for the recommendations, I might pick up amulet or jeskai. The big mana decks are normally eldrazi tron and amulet. Before asking, I was playing GBx and I was in a spot of winning just against the burn players, control games where just grind fests that ended always on them landing a threat I can't answer.
My meta is basically control decks and burn (occasionally there's some big mana players). There's a split of 60-40 between competitive players and casual players. Decks I own are: Jeskai Control, GBx, Amulet, Tron, and Hardened Scales.
