Such a great limited card. Makes the other colour pairs seem like trash. Stupid useless modified and 'have to have both art and enchants in play' are just asking for you to draft bad cards. Green blue, nope draft solid creatures that can also become spells in a pinch. GU is like a running meme at this point.
Yet another set where the standard versions are weak chaff and the so called commander product should have been in standard.
Sad. Kamigawa lives up to the past by being another awful set. Gotta keep the name associated with Kief I suppose.
What a surprise, a RW legend that cares about combat. GU legend that draws your deck and/or cheats in large creatures for free dropping in 3..2..1..
If this wasn't combat matters the entire Samurai tribal fandom will go the way of the Werewolf tribal fans.
I'm sorry I don't follow, arnt the latest werewolves good?
When Ulrich came out in Eldritch Moon and had basically no synergy with werewolves as a tribal commander, samurai tribal wants a combat matters commander.
These ninjas seem so much worse than the originals. Too high ninja costs and conditional abilities. I guess wizards is still cautious since the rediculously op commander.
This sucks. We just had a craptacular theros set last year based on enchantments. Seems like they are finally running out of ideas. Also, commander decks based on enchantments are incredibly boring to play against so please stop helping that genre!
Uprising is a real cool card. If it didn't give the opp stuff it'd be too strong, but breaking parity if you build your deck for it shouldn't be too hard. Nice work wotc.
Why would it be too strong? There are lots of x token producers that were legal in standard and none of them had this Abysmal drawback and none ever broke standard. This card is complete trash. Rare and a sorcery too, good grief.

Ah yes thank you, I had forgotten him.

Yes, yes it was. Way too big and efficient and goes in every deck because Wiz made zero drawbacks to a snow mana base. Compare with stalking stones
