With prerelease, new cards are acquired. but, if i put them into the pile of rares with the older ones, there is a bit of a "warped" gap between the two piles, lookng as if one pile is bent slightly? Is there any way to straighten them out so they all are...um "aligned" to a neater pile?
I haven't got all the latest pieces, but this odd budgety lot seems to work for me. And as silly as it sounds, 2x Clamor Shaman in SB can really push through
Anyone else having problems with the Server being really sluggish?
Over here in Australia,
That's NBN for you..kidding..maybe
Seriously though the Arena server is the only thing I get at decent speed - even when I downloaded the installer (more than once) it was 3x the ****y speed Telstra gives me on everything else. Odd.
.. but it's way too defensive. Unless you have an empty field it won't take a chance and attack.
Quite the opposite when I play it - I have a tapped Gruul Spellbreaker and a tapped Sunder Shaman, am on 35 life while AI is on 6 or 7, and it still attacks with it's 2/2 and 1/1 vanilla cats even with Ajani's Welcome out, LOL
On Arena there is no toxicity because you can't chat or anything, if they spam Emotes you can mute them.
Agreed. Given some of the LGS I have been to, Arena is a much better option. I can't even begin to write about the "happenings" at certain LGS. Why travel 2-3hrs for that, when I can play whenever I want in comfort.
We were both 1:1 on creatures but the bot had, IIRC, a trampler. All it needed to do was swing and win but it kept holding back for about ten turns until I drew what I needed. WTH?
Yeah the practice mode is odd..a lot of the time I play it, it plays mono white, and seems to attack every turn with it's 1/2s and 2/2s, even if it costs it the match.
On a side note, as for matchmaking, it is definitely doable from Ai. On Duels, for example, if I played Delirium then Watchers of the Dead, Scarab Feast, etc would come out without fail in multiples. GB Snake deck, the Ai would ALWAYS play instantly anti-snakes deck with lots of things that would place counters on my creatures, Grasping Dunes, Festering Mummy, Soulstinger etc
Foolishly decided to go into a Constructed event. Not sure how they work there but 4 games (I won 1 because they randomly conceded) and all 4 were mono white: Dauntless Bodyguard, Hunted Witness, Skymarcher Aspirant, the elephant that convokes etc.
I just went in a Guilds draft, and what a load of **** that was. I went Boros. So did 3 other players I vsd. o.0 Saw 10 Boros Challengers all up (seriously?), 8 of that 1/1 lifelink bird and as many Fresh-Faced Recruits. Every game was like this:
Now if I play a silly deck running lots of basic lands, rubbish creatures etc., I come up against other homebrew janky decks I would otherwise never see.
You're lucky. If I play lots of basics and rubbish creatures, I still come up against Esper or RDW, or Izzet.
Matchmaking is WAY off..Playing the beginner decks or Planeswalker Intro decks against Control, RDW and other top 8 is just not my thing. Another example, I had to play 20 black spells to gain 500 coins - so I slapped together as many low cmc cards as possible. Diregraf Ghoul The 0/3 that surveils. So on so forth. NO rares, NO dual lands all basics, yet I am STILL playing against the same kind of deck..a form of control or Izzet blah blah.
Also my gawd the stalling on there. I play a Prowling Caracal. They pause to look at it. I play ANOTHER Caracal. They pause to look at it. They start letting the timer run down. Before my end step, they hang. Before I attack, they hang. Even if they have no mana available etc.
Domri, City Smasher is not good.
Zhur-Taa Goblin in place of an Instigator or Ironshell.
Kraul Harpooner is a decent 2 cmc 3/2 with reach to replace ironshell or Instigator.
Collision // Colossus for either buff or annoying big flyers (Shalai, Voice of Plenty)
Rhythm of the Wild would be better here than Burn Bright. Creatures can't be countered/haste.
Charging War Boar for Gruul Spellbreaker.
Lava Coil is always a good removal.
Main deck -
4 Paradise Druid
4 Zhur-Taa Goblin
4 Kraul Harpooner
4 Growth-Chamber Guardian
4 Gruul Spellbreaker
2 Living Twister
2 Skarrgan Hellkite
1 Samut, Tyrant Smasher
4 Shock
2 Lava Coil
4 Stomping Ground
4 Rootbound Crag
8 Forest
7 Mountain

Just keeps saying hmm repeatedly.

Esper Control
Sultai Midrange
Mono White
Gruul Aggro
2.

Last draft I went in, I got 3, yes THREE Simic Ascendency, and no real Simic common/uncommons..
