Had an Ilharg in play.
Played a Gruul Spellbreaker (Haste)
Played a Zhur-Taa Goblin.
Attacked with all of the above, putting a Skarrgan down with Ilharg.
Boom
Luckily they weren't playing Fog Spells. They conceded when I attacked.
Holy ***** dude not even close. You don't draw your pieces in chess and need to rely on RNG giving you your Bishop when you need it. Your opponent cant be playing a board that directly counters your board. Chess is equal and balanced on both sides, the only exception being someone plays first. Not anywhere near a comparison to MTG.
But try taking a card out of a deck, and putting a new one in. I seem to get that new card in my opening hand for like the 7 or 8 games. Hmm.....
Accuracy right here. I put in ONE Dimir Guildgate in my deck as a test, and it came up EVERY game from then on. Even in consecutive hands after mulligan.
Probably not worth anything, but I've found this deck to lose a LOT to "Rogue" decks. I also played vs Esper planeswalkers and it certainly gave this a hard time.
I have even gone to the extent of adding a 3rd Kefnet. May move it to side. On a lot of vs RDW games, sure they start out strong and I lose a little life, but not too long and they have exhausted and I can switch the board.
I had enough Wizard tokens/Kefnet/Zombies to block whilst they lost life to Invasion, then once it had gotten a little big I drew Tyrant's Scorn and bounced the token - they weren't impressed.
Turn 5 I:

Played a Zhur-Taa Goblin.

BestMagicGamer always with the best posts.
I play Duress and Price of Betrayal and that does it for me.
Does the Spellbreaker trigger Kiora's draw a card effect? Or does the spellbreaker enter, THEN the counter is placed on it?

Although my last session would have been called MTG: Turn 1 Fanatical Firebrand. That's all I saw game after game.
Merfolk Trickster?
Watertrap Weaver?
Tempest Caller?

Just perusing some lists and see some running Pteramander. Not sure about it myself, but idk stuff lol.

So Amass would be 4? Shock, Lava Coil, Chart and the other Opt? Ok cool.
I have
Invade the City, Opt, Shock, Lava Coil, Chart a Course and Opt (again) in graveyard. I cast Finale of Promise, and choose to cast Opt and Invade the City. Now the questions I present are:
Can I cast Opt first, then Invade to count Opt for the Amass?
How much would I total Amass for? (Both counting and not counting Opt)
Not sure how it all works out. I noob.
