Completely baseless but Terramorphic Expanse with Amulet of Vigor reprint would not only make new lands playable but turn the Terramorphics into untapped Searchers.
Descendant's Path could make this deck exciting. It costs 3, but you can possibly play a critter for free if you have another of that type. Few changes if you intend to do that:
Corpsejack Menace is the only fungus in standard right now unfortunately, so no tricks with him.
As for the others, you would drop the non-Vampire critters, such as Lumberknot and Quirion Dryad. While both good they don't fit into the theme if you're planning to try to flood free critters each turn.
Stromkirk Noble is a house and really still cheap overall and is still a vampire with a built in counter production. Turn one Noble into almost anything turn 2 is usually a good thing. Diregraf Ghoul hurts because it comes into play tapped, but it is just as good as a Rakdos Cackler turn 2. And it can still block with counters if needed. Vampire Interloper flies but you can put Bloodcrazed Neonate in there if you feel the need to block first turn.
Those are your only green cards. If you drop all those, you can easily go to an all mountain mana base. You can probably even drop a land at that point as your CMC is really not that high.
Like haste? Use Lightning Mauler and every creature can have haste as it enters as long as he's in play. He's really budget friendly too! And Thunderous Wrath in a mono-red deck. 5 damage for 1 mana if it's topdecked, awesome! Hellion Crucible is a great card in a mono-red deck. You can pump it to produce tokens every couple of turns. Makes the late game not unbearable.
Not a terrible deck. I may suggest Cursebreak or Paraselene for some Enchantment hate out of the sideboard. Maybe as a one or two of. Maybe not as vital but it does get rid of Curses still, even though Enchantments.dec is probably rotating now...
Also maybe a few Cloudshift to reactivate many of your enters the battlefield effects....
my buddy runs Goblin Gaveleer with Accorder's Shield, i like to use goblin fireslinger to activate bloodthirst, and maybe switching out midnight haunting and evolving winds for Lingering Souls and shimmering grotto? Rally the Peasants could help too? also goblin grenade rules with kuldotha rebirth.
i hope that may help.
This too is a decent idea, the Lingering Souls and Shimmering Grotto. This would definitely be over the 5 dollar budget, but perhaps that would make it flow much better.

I was thinking about the Goblin Grenade, but would need many more goblin targets. Guess with the Goblin Fireslinger it could work.
In pure Magical Christmasland only, best case scenario you blow up an Accorder's Shield, get 3 goblin tokens from Kuldotha Rebirth, sac one to Infernal Plunge, use the other two mana to sac the other two for double Goblin Grenade and then bring something else out with the floating 1 red?
But, in doing this, you have basically shown that you don't need the white, which was the start of the deck anyway. Don't know.
[card]
Doomed Traveler[/card]? Going turn 1 Traveler turn2 Virtue is a lot less powerful than Honor.
True, but unless you're playing against anything but aggro or control, chances are you're going to be blocking with Doomed Traveler unless they're on the play. True, though, Doomed Traveler is effected by the Honor of the Pure moreso than the Intangible Virtue when he hits the board.
Was also just saying that especially for budget purposes the Intangible Virtue could and does work pretty well.
If Memnite's are too expensive for you, then there's not much else to help the deck.
Sorry, was editing my earlier post when you replied. Memnites are by no means too expensive for me, I own two full playsets anyway. I was just jumping in and seeing how good of a deck that could be built for around $5, like shinbatsu usually runs on here. Maybe I posted this in the wrong place...
Memnites are staples, and really don't cost all that much.
I know they don't cost much. They ran about 3.50 for the playset, though, which doubled the cost of the whole deck. I agree, Memnites really would help, just seeing if there's anything else I'm missing. Was trying to stay within the EXTREME BUDGET CHALLENGE that they seem to run pretty often on this board as well.
The coolest part about this one, is the cost. Coming in around 3.35 on the LOW end. The Stormblood Berserkers cost 1.47 roughly on their own and everything else is .30 or less! Let me know what you think. Also tweaks to this deck are appreciated. Remember, trying to stay on extreme budget here. Also, currently no sideboard.
Let's say i have evrything to support this deck, except i only have 2 honor of the pure? Would the Intangible Virtue do the job? Or is buffing the delver of secrets essential for the t2 and 3 flying attacks. Or would adding 2 Oblivion Ring be smarter? This deck seems very viable!
1 Q, wouldn't a single Drogskol Reaver be a great addition to this deck?
I like the idea of adding red for many reasons. You can have Moltensteel Dragon and Slash Panther, but also Rage Extractor, which can make life less fun for the opponent when you start tossing off the Phyrexian Mana Spells.
I recommend adding 4 Infernal Plunge to the deck. A little more reach never hurt. Also, since none of your creatures fly, why not throw in a few Corrosive Gale. Yes, it's green, but yes, it can be paid for with Phyrexian Mana, aka life, so why not, it also eats birds and other fliers alive! Also, nothing hurts worse than bringing something back from the graveyard, unless they're about to cast it, then nothing hurts worse than it being returned to the top of their deck! Noxious Revival is a fun one too!
Phyrexian Unlife is a fun card for this decktype as well. It would require white though. Something to ponder on.
You had 29 cards in your deck, which leaves basically 11 after mana, since you have so much ramp, 20 should be fine landwise.
- Mana Myrs (These guys cost too much to be an on color Llanowar Elf!)
-3 Blinding Souleater (while decent there are better souleaters out there)
-4 Sphere of the Suns (decent but there is better)
Whole deck should cost you around $5.00. Pretty decent. "Blah Blah, dual lands, blah blah" is what others may say, and while it will help the consistency it will skyrocket the price almost instantly. You have some decent ramp. Try it out! Only thing you may consider is some protection in the form of counterspells such as Mana Leak, Dissipate and such. Otherwise, not too shabby!
Also your manabase could use some tweaking.
So, here is what I recommend:
-4 Lumberknot
-4 Quirion Dryad
-4 Havengul Vampire
-4 Erdwal Ripper
-4 Mountain
+3 Descendant's Path
+4 Stromkirk Noble
+3 Vampire Interloper or +3 Bloodcrazed Neonate
+3 Blessings of Nature
+3 Diregraf Ghoul
+2 Evolving Wilds
+2 Swamp
Stromkirk Noble is a house and really still cheap overall and is still a vampire with a built in counter production. Turn one Noble into almost anything turn 2 is usually a good thing. Diregraf Ghoul hurts because it comes into play tapped, but it is just as good as a Rakdos Cackler turn 2. And it can still block with counters if needed. Vampire Interloper flies but you can put Bloodcrazed Neonate in there if you feel the need to block first turn.
Just my two cents.

-4 Rootbound Crag
-4 Strangelroot Geist
-3 Rancor
-8 Forest
-4 Flinthoof Boar
+3 Hellion Crucible
+9 Mountain
+4 Lightning Mauler
+4 Thunderous Wrath
+2 Flames of the Firebrand
+2 Archwing Dragon
Just my two cents. Just feel the double green on the Strangleroot and the other green things, other than Rancor, really aren't helping you that much.
Also maybe a few Cloudshift to reactivate many of your enters the battlefield effects....

The only thing that Honor of the Pure pumps that Intangible Virtue does not is the Drogskol Captain anyway, so in my opinion, this is a suitable replacement, or at least budgetwise decision.
Also, Drogskol Reaver seems like win more here. Doesn't really want to push the lategame to what I think.
On another note, Break of Day seems like a nice combat trick. Spare from Evil seems like a decent sideboard card at least.
2nd - :symr::symb::symw: Control
