Didn't we need to switch to Azorious Keyrune instead of the Bant obelisk, to limit our green for Acorn Harvest?
I think a small optimization could be to have an etb: gain 2 creature (Venerable Monk) and have it get doubled by Yarok, the desecrated
but one other thing we should do before we get those minor optimizations and final slots too nailed down is verify that the start works.
Obviously we start with Chancellor, Forest, Mana Crypt, Eureka, Omniscience
But that's already 5 of our 7 starting cards
Sphinx into Words of wisdom gets us to 4,
but I'm not sure where to go from there
we need goblin dark dwellers to recast the words again.
I think we want to get karn and salvaging station going for infinite mana. Though we are still a ways off from using that to say make more sphinxes.
Then we can probably start drawing the rest of the combo pieces. We can mill the enchantments and get them back with skull of orm (maybe Crystal chimes better?)
I'm not sure if we want to do some tricks to get get a Mirrorworks token of Mirrorworks? (costing a card draw I think)
I don't think anything requires there to be tons of copies of artifacts before we get to metallurgeon?

I'm no Deedlit11, so I'm not going to give an accurate approximation (Just at a glance it looks to be somewhere in the X->X->X range, where 6<x<42 though I'm not very confident in that answer)
The main thing holding you back from more damage is that you are putting too much focus on making a few things (Doubling seasons, TYS, Precursor golems) And while those do certainly feed into and power each other, its more efficient to chain your resources as long as possible instead of having multiple ways to do the same thing. For example, extra copies of quasiduplicate don't matter because you will be casting the first quasiduplicate many more times than however many copies you can fit in. 8X isn't very different from X for these approximations.
There are a lot of resources you aren't using, such as your own life total. To steal a card from the standard deck, one copy of Ionize would allow you to counter an Echo of Eons so it can reshuffle itself in. At the low low cost of 2 life.
Then you want to gain lots of life, well there are a bunch of ways to do that, Boon Reflection+Vampire Neonate trades one of their life points for a bunch of ours.
Now you want to force the opponent to gain life at the cost of something else... and so on...
Chaining the resources in a 1 to X exchange makes what we call layers. Old decks like the one linked in the OP were focused on making the longest chain possible, and got to over 400 of them crammed together in a 60 card deck.
Then the stage tech came along, and allowed us to make X layers. This completely obliterates any layer based strategy. (Look forward to my upcoming explanation of the stage combo in standard coming soon(tm)).
Now they have gigastages and hyperstages, and the most recent decklist is a bizarre enigma to puzzle out.

So we spend all but one of our white mana making a stack of alternating novas's TYS triggers
TYS: nova=wrath of god
When a wrath version resolves we can generate a bunch of nonwhite mana by fetching all of our creatures again with Finale of Devastation.
we repeat that until we resolve the last wrath, then we fetch all of our creatures again except for Excavation Elephant. Now when our purify nova resolves we can get back all of our enchantments with Tragic Poet We use The Mending of Dominaria to put the elephant in our hand where we can kick it spending our floating white to return Gilded Lotus to make 3 white which is exactly enough to pay for the kicker as well as the next copy of nova, which we cast in wrath mode.
So we can turn a Wrath then a Purify resolving into a lot of wraths.
What do we do when running low on Purifies? When we get down to 2 Purifies left we do the above process again to get 2 mana but instead of casting a wrath now we let the last Purify resolve, use Tragic poet to find our enchantments except for The Mending then let the wrath from the next layer resolve killing our Elephant, now we can return Gilded Lotus and have 4 floating white mana which is enough to rebuild the top layer (by casting Nova=purify, negate it, then Nova=Wrath) at the cost of one of the spells from the lower layer.
The key is that to restore our white mana we need both types to resolve but can only spend that white on one of them.
We can get ~200 white mana with 4x Smothering Tithe, allowing us to build the tower ~100 levels. The cool thing is that this can all be done in response to the TYS triggers so the bottom layers will have more copies when their TYS triggers finally resolve.
