Check you sleeves before you start FNM. little nicks, scratchs, or bends can be counted as marked cards. very bad

I would say one of the biggest tips I can give is to take notes. Write down what your opponent plays. Every thing he plays.

this is good advise, i take notes as well. but for other people out there. don't be dumb, remember you are not allowed to have previous game notes out wile playing another game.

i know that in big tournaments mana weave could get you in trouble, but you can do it in fnm if you shuffel afterwards

pile shuffleing is my favorite way to shuffle

i know this is obvious but i cant tell you how many times this happened. before you start fnm count you deck AND sideboard.

at the shop i play at 1 guy wife plays, 3 of the guys girlfriends, and 2 of my ex's played

I stared this thread for people to post tips or habits they have at fnm.
one of the things i do is mana shuffle before and after fnm. it helps get rid of mana pockets.

get rid of the ping creatures. throw in burn. like lightning helix lightning bolt.
