mostly for food tokens so urza can make berry pie out of them.Quote from the n00b king »Quote from Courier7 »Quote from Lectrys »I don't think Oko will get banned in Modern (and I'm speaking as a Modern player). He's too vulnerable to immediate hard removal like Assassin's Trophy and Abrupt Decay (he makes a Food token immediately quite often), the counterspells and targeted discard in Modern nab him quickly and harshly enough (heck, Mystical Dispute has risen in maindecks)
Perhaps I am missing something here, but the cards you mention are also legal in Pioneer so why were Pioneer decks having such a difficult time against this particular planeswalker? Trying to use Thoughtseize and Negate were not good enough against other decks? Caveat: I have not played a game of MtG in about a year so there may be nuances I am missing.
Lightning Bolt and Inquisitions are huge reasons why. Also modern is significantly faster than pioneer. Most modern decks don't care about Oko. The only deck that plays it is Urza and that deck doesn't even need to.

But their bad business practices don't see to matter until sales eventually drop and tournaments stop being run. Which might even be there goal at this point to make magic 100% online. Wizards will have to fund this in some hidden way. O yeah guys we total aren't run by Wizards still.
RA – Free
Level 1 – $100
Level 2 – $200
Level 3 – $400
How many times do I have to tell you people
Paper magic is never leaving they are way to far into it and it making far more money than online magic is especially since they don’t want to buy the cards again -

HolyProxyBatman posted a message on Happily Ever After... I get six cards, except when I'm on the dealer's right, in which case, I get seven cards. Card #2 is turned up, but not on Tuesday. You'd be pretty happy with two Jacks, but not with three, as you'd be disqualified. Getting a King or a 2 would make your hand even better, unless it's nighttime when you'd be better off with a Queen or a 4. In the end, you might end up with a Royal Fizzbin, but the odds are astronomical and may never even have been computed.Posted in: Happily Ever After -

their spoiler strategy sucks so much dick and is beyond obnoxious now.
Just keep up that charming personality and you'll be asked to do your own previews, Xcric. The dick sucking will be practically nonexistent once they send the spoilers months in advance since your cooperative nature helps further their interests, what with all the influence you have over your fandom. -

sweet ******* jesus. no one is going to go to all that ***** to see some damn spoilers. they're going to just go somewhere that shows them all at once.

You're right, they should just go back to their original system of not publishing a schedule and just having people scour the internet looking for the previews on their own. That's how it used to be. The current way is much better. -

Then don’t follow all those sites. WotC is trying to give as much of the content creators a chance to have fun and show some cool things off. Either come here, or go to another spoiler site. -

Now it's insane. This is utterly bonkers and I guarantee it's a result of a money-hungry corporate entity getting its hands into Wizards. I hate this landscape of "big company buys a smaller company and then pumps it for all its worth". Another case would be what Activision has done to Blizzard. It's terrible, caustic, and it will kill lucrative and well-loved IPs.

So far this is a really well-designed core set and I dig it.
