Am I wrong in thinking that Atla, equipped with thornebite staff, and Ashnod’s altar on board, would allow you to loop to get an entire deck of creatures onto the battlefield?
Make an egg, sac it to the altar to make mana, the egg dies and triggers Atla and the staff, untapping Atla and putting a creature out. You would make the mana to do it again.
Her creature type is even shaman
Have hellraiser goblin in the deck as a haste enabler and you might be able to swing for lethal on everyone
You could use the staff to search out the entire cycle of demigod auras at once and suit him up like a boss, provided you had no other creatures in the deck.
I’m thinking proteus saff in a creatureleas deck. Use it on niv, he comes back out, you stack your deck with whatever cards you need in the top 10, his etb triggers and you get them into hand.
