I'll keep some of these suggestions in mind, thanks!

Last night I threw in the 8post+ 3 sol rings+ 2expedition map and made a few cuts, the sol rings and expedition maps felt alright but I never really got a situation where I had more than one post out with this deck so kinda iffy on how it felt.

Yeah, it definitely feels like I'm lacking early power atm. Nykthos looks nice, but a little out of my price range atm for 4~ of them, but I should definitely pull the trigger on 4x windbrisk heights.

Originally when building this deck, I really wanted to put Elesh Norn in this deck, but I feel like it's kind of a waste, eh? What about Anointed Procession though?

This is my current build I have, looking for input on how to improve it. Also curious if splashing green is the better way to go overall for deck strength or not. Also thoughts on 8x cloudpost in a deck like this? Seems like it could be good. Unsure. I'm sure it wouldn't be good if I were to change it to a green/white token deck, but curious about as a monow deck. I've seen Endbringer suggested as well for a way to bring card draw to white so was thinking about that as well.

    Thanks for thoughts and opinions.

Thanks for the list, some interesting ideas in here I might incorporate into this deck, especially that steely resolve.. One of the players at the table runs a royal assassin deck quite regularly, so that would prevent him from just killing my creatures repeatedly which is awesome. Thanks for all the ideas guys always appreciated.

Alright cool good to know. I'll keep that in mind and try both out separately and see which one fits my tables meta better.

Also looking at the list you posted more - I assume the Worn Powerstone is just a budgeted version of Sol Ring?

Final question on my mind right now, if I were to go above a 60 card deck list akin to what you posted, say with just a few more random eldrazi creatures, would it be worth touching the mana base at all to compensate or no? I feel like it's almost not necessary because of how the locus lands work but i'm not sure haha.

Do the Thespian Stage's substitute well for the Vesuvas? I'd like to get 4 at some point but 4 of those break the budget a little bit haha.

Why the Sylvan Scrying over the Crop Rotation out of curiosity? I would think Crop Rotation would be better simply because you get to instantly have a cloudpost ready for next turn.

    Thank you!

I've looked up some decklists here from the past few years and got some ideas together, just looking to bring the deck together.

My meta is generally slow, except one person who likes to target me and one other person, and his decks typically ramp up very quickly, so not sure what I should do about that specifically.
This is what I picked up today, and I'm looking to see where to go from here to improve it.

The main cards I'm looking at are the big boys, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ulamog, The Infinite Gyre, Emrakul, The Aeons Torn, and Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger. Other big boys that look potentially good but not sure where/how some of these would fit in the deck.. Not opposed to making the deck a bit bigger, my groups decks tend to run about 70-75 cards strong, but I know there's a lot to be gained from the consistency in 60. The other big guys I was looking at are Void Winnower, World Breaker, and Oblivion Sower.

Definitely adding in the Emrakul, and then there's a few other cards I'm unsure about. Do I add 2 more All is Dust and 2 more Eldrazi Temple?

Are Eldrazi Mimic or Matter Reshaper good enough to make the cut? I definitely want to add at least one Eye of Ugin, and one Arcane Lighthouse.. And then also wondering if Expedition Map would make the cut somewhere.

Let me know what you guys think and where to go from here with this deck.

Cool thank you. Picked her up quite a few cards you suggested today as well as some other ones, Emeria Shepherd being one of those. I'll look to get her an inspired sphinx/Medomai to play with soon, unfortunately my local store didnt have an inspired.

Thank you for the list, I'll check out the spells mostly is what it looks like you changed up/cutting some creatures and other spells.

Outside of those things, are there any late game threats in specific that we should look for that are really good? I know Consecrated Sphinx, and Avacyn are both great cards, but pretty expensive too.

    Appreciate the help guys.

I think the deck currently isn't very optimized for the early/mid game. She seems to have no issues come late game, but that's only if she gets there - So I guess those are the 2 main places I'm trying to help her shore up - in terms of what to cut and what to add to help give her that consistency to reach the late game. Just not entirely sure how to go about that.

Well the Sphinx/Angel archtype is what she's looking for, this is just thrown together from what we have currently, that's why I'm trying to figure out how I can help focus this deck and make it better. I'm not sure what a good looking Angel/Sphinx deck would look like, or what to pick up and cut to begin making it into that shape.

Trying to help my fiance fix up her deck that she plays with most of the time for our multiplayer games.

This is the list that she's currently running, I know it's all over the place, so I'm trying to figure out what we can cut out of the deck, and what should be added to the deck. I'd like to keep the budget for fixing the deck up to around 50-100$. Any help would be wonderful thank you.

Yeah okay so their decks really aren't that great at the end of the day is what it sounds like.

What you're saying sounds wonderful, I really just want a ton of different decks to play, and cheaper is better. I don't want to sit here and build nothing but tryhard decks that crush everyone and make the game unfun for others.

On that note, I still never really got an answer from anyone - Based on the info that's here, are the challenger decks worth buying for me? I've been highly considering spending the 80~ or whatever it is on all 4 from last year and this year coming up.

I don't want you to just blow up this thread with builds unless you really want to, but if you have a centralized list of decks you have, or would be willing to list a lot of them that would be awesome of you.

Once again I appreciate the help from everyone thank you all!

Thanks for all the responses so far. I got my friend to update me on what him and his friends that have been playing for awhile have for decks.

'I have one of every 2 color combination and then the rainbow one, A has a zombie deck, a vampire, a populate, a devour, and a merfolk deck. then T has the blue, rat, red and black burn, stuffy doll, bears, samurai, treefolk, and giantsand all of us have an izzet red and blue'

So that's the all the decks I am/would be playing vs including the ones above. Thanks guys.

Hmm I don't know the lists everyone is using quite yet. 3 of the more experienced players have like 10~ decks between them and rotate them out every game.

One of those players has a stuffy doll deck as my friend calls it, an omniscience deck that wins off of laboratory maniac, a relentless rats deck - I'm not really sure what the other 2 have overall. My one friend that plays with us most of the time has a prophet of kruphix combo that lets him essentially play a whole turn on every other players turn, that was pretty nutty. He also runs an Izzet burn type deck, and a multicolor deck that wins off of Door to Nothingness and a few other things.

Among the less experienced players, my fiance has just a random blue/white deck she's been tinkering with, my good friend has a dragon deck that he spent like 300$ on, and a dino deck i think? the dragon deck seems pretty powerful if it builds up at all.

And his little brother has been running an Izzet burn deck as well thats pretty irritating.

Yeah, I definitely don't want to just run a Waste Not deck all the time, but the other deck I built that I thought would be good doesn't really seem to function well in multiplayer.

In terms of colors etc. I'd like to run about anything - I'd like to be able to build up to have 5+ decks so I can cycle through decks every game too, but I don't really want to break the budget.

I was looking into the challenger decks from last year and this year but not sure if it's worth.

Looking through all the stickied color guides, most of the sample decks in there are relatively expensive to what I want to spend to start with per deck - The only ones that seemed pretty cheap were most of the red deck lists I looked at.

Thanks for any help I appreciate it, it's been great getting into Magic for the first time, we've been playing nonstop lately. Just want to be able to hold my own without having to rely on one deck haha.

Myself and a few other people I know just started playing magic recently due to a friend getting us into it. But him and his friends that we play vs sometimes have been playing for years and years and have optimized decklists (one of them ran the omniscience combo with the laboratory maniac, another of them has a relentless rats deck that won fairly quickly etc).

So I'm just looking to find some decklists that are competitive on their own, that I can slowly upgrade to better decklists too - I've been looking through a lot of decks and a lot of them are fairly expensive (300+ for everything), but I did find and build a black/blue Waste Not deck that worked really well last night, although they hated it quite a bit.

Outside of that, I have a Boros Doublestrike deck that's white and red, but it doesn't really seem suited for a multiplayer game... So I'm looking for some other decks I can build that will do well in a 4-6 player game on a budget. Thank you.

Also I'm sure you'll look at this since you're a big poster here in regards to Prid3 - I really like a lot of your decklists, just curious if you have a comprehensive list of them anywhere?

    Thanks guys.
