    Evincar Gerrard4BB
    Legendary Creature — Human Shapeshifter
At the beginning of your upkeep, target opponent discards a card at random.
B, Sacrifice a creature other than Evincar Gerrard: Destroy target creature.
"He took Captain Sisay. I will not rest until we have her back." ~Vuel, First Officer of the Weatherlight.

If there were a few tweaks to this, it'd be a good card. If this treefolk were played in a black deck, you get an awesome card. Unfortunately, in a green deck it's not as good. This is missing half of the card: If it's to be like the spell cycle in Shadowmoor, it needs a GG effect.

Nitpick time: Hybrid cards with Casting Cost NHH mean that if it was NCC, it wouldn't violate the color pie, and same if it were NDD (The other color in the hybrid cost). Trample is big in green, and a secondary ability in red. There are only 3 creatures with Trample in Standard: Lord of the Pit, Leige of the Pit, and Void Maw, so it's only black creatures that are supposed to be ridiculously large. As-is, this is a black-green gold card that's missing half of its cycle. Good potential, though. 5/10

    Serra Survivor 2WW
    Creature — Angel
    Flying
Whenever an Angel spell is played, you may pay 1. If you do, you gain 1 life.
Serra's Realm, Ulgrotha, and now Dominaria. Despite worlds crumbling around them, the Angels still strive to give the greatest of all gifts: Hope.

Next: Create a non-white non-black enchantment that could be a Planar Chaos version of the Circles of Protection, ala Circle of Affliction.

    CatDog 2BR
    Legendary Creature — Cat Hound
    Persist
As long as CatDog does not have a -1/-1 counter on it, it has Double strike.
    2/3

    Next: Beeble Juggernaut.

    Angelithopter 2(2/W)(2/W)(2/W)
    Artifact Creature — Angel Thopter
    Flying, Vigilance
If you control a white creature, Angelithopter gains First Strike
    4/4

(Thinking up the name for that was hell, and should have worded that second ability "another white" and like the scarecrows.)

    Squee, Goblin Necromancer 2BB
    Legendary Creature — Goblin Zombie
At the beginning of your upkeep, if Squee, Goblin Necromancer is in play or in your graveyard, you may return target Goblin card from your graveyard to your hand.
"We goblins are notoriously hard to kill." ~Squee, to Evincar Mirri

Mist-Shroud Initiate: I like it. It would have been great even without the last ability, and that one's a bit confusing. Despite this, the second ability has potential. 7/10

Since Tywin didn't submit a challenge, I'll repeat Quazifuji's challenge with my idea.

    Cinder Torturer 1B
    Creature — Elemental Shaman
    Haste
1B,t: Put a -1/-1 counter on target creature.
    Pain is the Cleanser.
    1/1

(I'm still new to the cardmaking stuff, so I'm not 100% sure on costing. Is this appropriate?)

    I love Goblin Pyromancer

"The good news is, we figured out how the wand works. The bad news is, we figured out how the wand works."

I love phrases where something can be both the good news, and the bad news. Like falling and landing in something soft in the stables.

In fact, Goblins are the best source of flavor text humor in the game.

    Step 1: Find your cousin.
Step 2: Get your cousin in the cannon.
    Step 3: Find another cousin.

    WUBRG: (Version 2)

    Hybrids would look something like:

Not too proud of the Green mana, but hard to find something that truly represents green other than a leaf or a tree.

I know Spiderboy's blows me out of the park, but whatever. I'll throw my $0.05 in (Adjusted for the weak dollar)

Sorry for necroing this thread, but I really enjoyed it, and feel that maybe people should be reminded of this storyline. That, and remember to stay away from J. Robert King.

I just found the last 3 parts, and thoroughly enjoyed them. This entire series makes me want to read Nemesis, and stay clear away from Apocalypse. Your reaction to the eraser scene reminded me of a recent episode of "Zero Punctuation" from the Escapist, where he mentions that you kill one of the bosses in Condemned 2 by "Shouting at him until his brain explodes. I wish I was [bleep]ing kidding."

One major thing that I found that people might find funny:
Quote from "WotC Author Bio for King" »
Rob King is the greatest writer who has ever lived. This is what he tells himself whenever he faces a blank computer screen. It's a lie, of course, but a helpful and pleasant one. That's what authors do -- write helpful and pleasant lies.

    Yes, really.
