First that was the most painful post I have ever had to read.

    Now, onto buisness.

I like Oona a lot and the flavor's great, but it is kind of disappointing that the deck type she fits into best is not a Faerie deck. I guess that's kind of inevitable since she needs to be something big and powerful, though.

It's not that two card combos in general are bad, just that a two card combo that gives you a 7/7 Vigilance with no evasion for the price of a Flamecore Elemental (including the echo because of Pyrohemia) isn't anythingto get excited about.

I think you can kind of look at the card two ways, that make it look more or less powerful. If you look at it as a way to turn any burn into a 7/7 vigilance that dies when it hits your opponent, it seems nice, as turning a shock or pyroclasm into 7 damage or a bunch of edicts seems pretty good.

On the other hand, if you just look at it as a 7/7 for four mana with the drawback of not doing anything unless you throw some burn spells at it, then it's a lot weaker. Sure, it's not that hard to damage it, and you can even do it without using up a card with mass burn or reusable effects, but, while a 7/7 with pseudo-vigilance for four mana is powerful, it's not necessarily game-breaking enough to be worth the set up it requires. Compared to the G/R demigod, I'd say its definitely weaker.

People seem to be getting so excited about the possibility of untapping it that they don't realize that by the end of most of the combos, they're spending almost as much mana as a regular 7/7 would cost anyway. Arena is the main combo that seems to have real potential to me, considering that it lets you abuse both the arena and the titan at the same time, as opposed to Pyrohemia, which just untaps the titan but doesn't do anything else special.

I still love the card, but I love it as a casual Johnny who appreciates cool card designs. I don't see it seeing play outside of casual decks built around it or being thrown into Stuffy Doll/Swan decks.

Just something of note, too...Green/Red seems to be big in this go around, and Seedborn Muse is still in Standard, unless I'm mistaken. It lacks the abusability of Pyrohemia and whatnot, but it gives you a reliable untap each turn. That said, the muse costs even more than the giant, so it's an awkward combo, but it would work more or less.

Big 7/7 Giant + Fire Whip + Blades of Velis Veil (or Mirror Entity) + Judge of Currents = Infinite Life!!! =)

We have less than half spoiler, and the machine gun combos just keep coming!!

Maybe we´ll have a "Life Dot" at T2, after all...

Not infinite. He still has to deal himself damage to untap, so he is limited to 6 or 7 life (dependent if you want to kill him or not) with Blades, and whatever you have him as X at for Mirror Entity. Unless I missed something. Still, though, with Mirror Entity, in that scenario, you could get pretty massive life gain per turn, as I see it. Oona is something I'd like to get my hands on too...I have a B/U Mind Manipulator deck that she would work rather well with, I think... [EDIT] Remove from game, though...good to keep my opponents hands off of their library...but Liliana won't like that...
