Lectrys posted a message on [MID] Hound Tamer // Untamed Pup— Amazonian previewI thought the Hound Tamer would lose control of the Untamed Pup and get eaten by it in order to transform. That werewolf form doesn't look like a pup.Posted in: The Rumor Mill -

I don't think they are quite willing to put Human Psychopath on a type line and Horror doesn't quite fit either.
Understandably so, but I've never thought of killer psychopaths as "assassin" before is all which is where that iffy feeling comes from.
Agreed, I actually think hunter might have been a better fit. Plus "human hunter" is a beautiful play on words -

Honestly in my opinion this is what a mythic should be like. It is fun and if you let it take off it can win you the game but it isn't a obvious staple card nor one that tilts the game in your favor the moment it is played.
It just looks like fun to play with. -

Grixh posted a message on [MID] - Innistrad Spoilers - Day, Night, Arlinn and Saryth.Posted in: The Rumor MillQuote from Evil Never Dies »"new" mechanic? Oh please, they just keyworded to be more in flavor the identical mechanic that all innistradi werewolf already had
In addition to this not actually being the same (cards can enter on the backside and it only cares about the player whose turn it is casting spells) I assume they intend to otherwise care about whether it is day or night or they would not have bothered. -

I love innistrad. I love werewolves, zombies, vampires. Gothic horror. Eldritch horror. Everything.
Yet...
Im just not. I just do not care any more.
We barely digested strixhaven before mh2, then forgotten realms shortly after that. Its difficult to care any more at all. It use to be overwhelming, it use to be frustrating, and now... now it just... i dont care.
Theres no time to enjoy anything any more. No time to acquire new cards. No time to test them. Cant even remember half of them any more. We get a week or two to draft and we're already on to the next thing, and the next, and the next.
And i just... i dont care any more.
I know im not alone. -

megatog201 posted a message on Magus of the CrossroadsIt could be a 2/2 for only G if the ability says all other creatures have haste. Still functionally the same card as the crossroads and magus combined. Crossroads never gave itself haste except under very situational circumstances.Posted in: Custom Card Creation - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

I usually like strong cards, but I really think this should have been a little bit weaker. I mean, as long as your black deck plays creatures, the question is really more like "do you play 4 of this?", not "do you play this?", unless graveyard decks disappear completely (and even then it's powerful).

By the way, I don't think the fall set will contain any phyrexians, because that would be a bit too close to the previous big villain, but they might be in the winter or spring sets of next year
