If you play an instant, just right after it is placed in the stack you loose priority to the other player? so I cannot cast 2 instants in a row whithout giving the oponnent priority?
I dont know if this is the right forum or I should ask in EDH but here I go.
I never played commander (neither my friends), so we want to play multiplayer commander, The question is, Can I block with my creatures when other oponent attacks my teammate?
A couple (many) years ago I used to play Tooth and nail as R/G Tron, I played red only for Burning wish as I played 4 main toots and one in the SB, I also played one Fireball as alternative win condition and a couple of Ignorant bliss
Now that that burning wish is off the format I really dont see red as my splash color anymore (maybe I am wrong) and the current decklist I saw do not make me feel "right"
So, I am thinking in using anoter color for a Tooth and Nail deck
It seems Mystic Gate will be printed as expedition land, but I dont know if is fake or not, It seems fake to me because the uncolored simbol is the new one instead of the old normal one of the original card.
Imagine this situation, I have 2 creatures in play, one of those is equipped with the sword of light and shadow the equipped creature (creature #1) is not bloked but the other one is (Creature #2)
#2 is a 1/1 bloked by another 1/1.
My question is, the ability of getting a creature from my graveyard to my hand of the sowrd resolves after the damage, so the 1/1 is in my graveyard? I can just get it back that one?
edit: the "damage to a player" count too when you damage a planeswalker?
The text in Emrakul the aeons thorn says "When Emrakul is put into a graveyard from anywhere, its owner shuffles his or her graveyard into his or her library." that mens the big eldrazi IS in the GY ande then the "shuffle is activated"
In that case, can I cast Thoughtseize and just righ after the Emrakul hits the GY cast Extirpate to avoid the triggered ability? or I just misunderstood the rule?
No, the mana base. It looks quite unconvential. The Catacombs could easily be Glens for instance. Trust me, its worth it . Also, only 2 mutavault but Faerie conclaves? Or has that something to do with the GQs you play?
Although the Dan Paulsen list is great, it requires some updates to surive the current meta. You will easily find some room for improvements
.
Actually not, The problem I have with the glens is revealing a faire, I have almost every card in the Dan Paulse List except for one Cryptic, so I could be playing exactly the list.
There are just a few things that bothers me, I use unsummon instead of vapor snag because I often use it as a way to recicle my own Mistbind cliques and lock my oponent s, vapor snag hurts me with 1 life point and provides me nothing more.
I play 2 MV because I dont want to hurt my color base, Faire conclave is just another manland that benefits from the sinergy, is 2/1 flyng for 2 manas, I play 2 GQs because Tron matchups and because of the many trick GQ can do for this deck.
Baby jace is my only draw engine and the sword and Hammer are tools to counter the life loss of BB mainly and heroes downfall in the worst case scenario is a hard removal for 1BB and in the best can Kill an annoying PW
But you are abolute right in many apreciations, I will be looking closely on the Dans list to create my own version, Thanks a lot

Are you on a budget? I guess you are. Black Guard isn't played for a very good reason. I would start searching off the list played by Dan Paulsen during the States championships. That list is really aggressive with Scions, while having the right amount of removal and controlling spells. The list you play includes too many suboptimal choices I'm afraid. If you want to go aggressive, 4 remand is essentially the way to go, but your two-slot is already stuffed. Mana leak is not an aggro card, nor is spellstutter sprite. I would include a single Cavern of Souls in the list. Also, Vapor Snag > Unsummon. In addition, I dont like the fact that half your deck operates at instant speed while the other half functions at sorcery speed.
A major problem is that your mana curve is too big without any way to have a 1 drop or a combined 2/1 drop in turn 3.
The number 1 problem of going aggro with faeries is that other decks are doing the same thing, but better. Aggro tribal decks like Merfolk and Elves are simply better in doing see. But they both lose to a turn 2 Bloom Titan, while agianst us it never resolves .
If you are really on a budget, I would recommend to enter the budget decks section of this forum. In developing competitive, the focus is restricted on choices where no financial barrier is involved.
Nevertheless, test it on cockatrice if you think this is what you want to play .
Well, I want to build a more aggro version of the UB Fae, I am not really comfortable going full control or tempo.
What I am looking to build is a full aggro faerie deck with just the right ammount of control to protect our win conditions and off course, negate our opponents ones (Like the old good UG Madness R.I.P)
I would really appreciate any comments to improve it

The rest of my deck was off course 4 toots, some combo creatures (Kiki-Jiki the mirror breaker, Sundering titan, darksteeel colossus, and others), for mana base I played the urzatron plus duals and some seals for mana aceleration.
I played sakura tribe elder, Reap and sow, sylvan adivination, eternal whitness, moment of peace, sensei´s divining top and of course boseiju.

White: For Isochronous scepter and Silence, condemn, plenty of removal cards and Sacred ground to protect my lands and 3x Wrath of god to wipe aggro
Blue: For bounce and counterspells that can protect my hand for those nasty black disruption spells such as duress and thougthseize
What do you think about it?

Great tip, I found the decklist you mention at http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/deck.asp?deck_id=1209781
I am not on a budget, why did you thought that? for the Blackguards?
