Well, when people ask for stuff like "the best two drop", they are usually trying to figure out what to fill a slot in a deck with, and I was just specifying that bitterblossom can't just be put in a deck because it requires specific synergies to really be effective.
Certain synergies = more than 1 life?
Making an army of fliers for minimal drawback is generally really relevant. Even if you use it as a bad forcefield, it is still incredible.
Mine haven't been sent out yet, and my last batch was apparently mailed in February of 07 (which I never got, curse you, Damnations and Psi Blasts! :argh:) According to this thing I have 11 token sets and 3 foils going out, and ill be damned if my current T2 deck doesn't have 3 face-down cards with "Cryptic command" scribbled on them, so does anyone have any idea when their next mailing is supposed to be?
I originally played him in fader when TSP first came out, when everyone was all about Skeletal Vampire as a black win condition I ran the Nosferatu over him, to great result.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find a home for him after that, but to this day I think he is a phenomenal card that just never saw play. I hope they reprint him some day, but I will probably be disappointed there.
Yeah, I would run 5/4 for 3 man over goblin assault and FoD over lush growth, easy. also, with 4 nacatl and 4 ambusher, youll probably want a playset of the naya panorama in the landbase. I havent really tested with the panoramas in constructed yet, though, so they might be as horrible as people say they are.
Personally I think that they shouldve printed the art for Infest as a faerie getting the middle finger. Faeries is still a powerful deck and people are going to play it quite a bit, but the difference now is there are plenty of hosers for it--people will run these hosers, too, since there is still alot of uncertainty about the emerging meta.
If you really want lifelink in a win condition, I highly recommend Divinity of Pride. He is a fantastic win condition and usually very hard to deal with.
I think urzassedatives list is way closer to where you want to be for RGW zoo, but I do have some pointers for that list--
Not enough aggressive creatures - I'd cut maybe some accellarants and some other spells (you probably don't need 4x charm) for more men. Kitchen Finks are always a go-to dude, and Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers is also a good alternative if you want to insure all your aggressive guys are out of firespout range. I think Figure of Destiny works here too.
Less lands, or retrace spells. The curve of this deck is incredibly low, but you both run a pretty high land count. Cutting a few for more smash can work, or if your greatly fear the screw I recommend a few flame jabs in there.
I also agree that Incinerate > Lash out and on that note Flame Javelin > Incinerate. And I think that if youre really married to having planeswalkers in the deck, Garruk is probably your best option, though new Ajani and Sarkhan probably arent bad by any means.
5GG: I have a theory that any creature printed with this converted mana cost is destined to be horrible in Standard. I have to add Standard as a qualifier only because of Protean Hulk, and creature only because of Tooth and Nail.
As for the enchantment, I actually like it, but it isn't even close to making it into any decks it wants to be in, short of limited or EDH. Fiery Bombardment would be a much better choice if you need a red enchantment in a creature-based deck for extra reach.
The long and short of it is that Mythic rares are going to be valued at more than theyre actually worth because of the kneejerk reaction to their existence. Is vol a 30$ card? Probably not, no, but hes a mythic who isn't total junk so people will vomit money to get him.
I'm sure many brick-and-mortar gaming stores across the globe will have their stories of "Mythic rare white whales" that were never opened out of the packs sold there, but for the most part I'm sure it won't be as bad as people think.

Probably not as good as FoD, but you can easily add to a 1cc toolbox.

You cheated (unintentionally). When you inversioned your dude he wouldve lost all creature types and died.

It doesn't fit perfectly or anything but hey neither did the Naya Ultimatum.
Thank god that thing is in 10th. Seriously.
Bant charm is fantastic, seriously.
