As a commander I can't say but Yawgmoth has accelerated my Hapatra deck by a considerable measure. With the snake output she provides plus very quickly finding anything like Zulaport Cutthroat, Obelisk Spider, Blood Artist, etc it ends games very quickly.
I'm a little wary about this because he's so tribal focused on a tribe that isn't really as focused or as well supported as a lot of the more popular ones like Elves or Goblins. Like Dusk707, I also wish that he supported his own abilities somehow. Mayhe he could have been a 2/2 and created a little 1/1 elemental before his damage ability triggered or maybe his etb ability could have read "target elemental deals damage equal to its power to any target" instead. That way his first ability would have more synergy with his second one while also not needing 3+ elementals on board already to be impactful.
That being said, I kinds like him. I enjoy his color combo and that alone combined with the draw landfall trigger makes me think he could at least be okay as a temur landfall commander.
Dude you'd be surprised by how many elementals there are. It's the first thing I learned building the tribe for commander. Currently I think they are the 6/7th most frequently occurring creature type out there. Certainly more than with either elves or goblins. They might not be as focused as other, more typical, tribes but I think being all over the place is their charm. If nothing else they kinda act like a swiss army knife of options in games with each one providing a tool. Granted this Omnath doesn't really provide anything new it still has some neat synergy with the tribe.
Whoop! So happy about 2 elemental legendary creatures this set. Thought Yarok meant we would get a boring human who makes elementals instead of this beauty!
Oof! Just what I needed for Horde of Notions EDH. This set is looking very promising and I'm still wondering that this means for the Temur legendary (who I assumed would be an elemental since those were meant to be the elemental colours).
Don't have a particular problem with Garruk trying to hunt down Marit Lage. My issue is that currently Garruk hunts planeswalkers as they are "the ultimate hunt". No doubt helped by their ability to move plane. We don't even know if Marit Lage still exists in modern MTG continuity or if she can even still planeswalk (she existed long before the mending was a thing).
I hope they do. We've been trying it in our playgroup so far and it's much better to use than the current mulligan rules. Then again we don't have cards to take too much advantage of this like Grenzo, etc.
DIALLING ALL PURESTEEL PALADINS!!

Love that new Golos though. Definitely deems great with commander in mind.

Sounds interesting to say the least.
The others seem cool though. Love Throes of Chaos.
They're not restricted to WB but my Horde of Notions EDH deck wants things like this.
