You havent contributing in anything more that licking the boots of wizards of the coast

I already proved you that I don't agree in everything WotC says, so if you continue with this line I have to think you are either in bad faith or a toxic troll that likes to flame threads. Which seems more likely, honestly, since it's literally the only thing you did since you entered this thread.

    I exposed your simpleton mindgames

then why you changed "only from personal resentments against WotC policies" for "only from personal frustrations"?. You think you are clever, but your mindgames are so kid like that a simpleton could have made them.

They are actually synonimous, but frustration seems a bit harsher and offensive to resentment so I changed that only for this reason. Not a big deal. A mere nuance in communication. But I fail to see what's your contributions on this thread, other than trying to "gotcha" me -which is indeed a childish behavior.

Until Dontstrike showed up in this thread to stalk me as his usual, I was having a perfectly civil and constructed discussion in this thread with ilovesaprolings for example. I agree that a mature person should hit the ignore button at this point, but exactly for this reason, don't expect him to do it.

The problem is that you lick everthing that says wizards of the coast

Not really? I have many issues with WotC, but "product fatigue" definitely isn't one of them. I just posted facts and official sources on this specific matter, which I think always hold much more water than any fan theories moved only from personal resentments against WotC policies.

So maybe you think that the 30 aniversary crap was fantastic

No, it's one of the worst thing WotC ever made. You see? Just because I don't suffer from "product fatigue" because I don't see it as a real problem at all, doesn't mean I don't have critical spirit.

The world is not black and white, or WotC is always wrong and playerbase is always right (good luck with that also, since in the playerbase you find people that support and hate everything and the contrary to everything), but reality is much more complex and to analyze it objectively we have to move beyond our personal bias.

Speaking of mental health, you're both coming off rather unstable.

wow interesting how you changed "only from personal resentments against WotC policies" for "only from personal frustrations". That is the precise proof that you lick everthing from wizards of the coast. You are frustrated becouse people is starting to realize that magic will nerver be a mainstream thing

The magic stock market and the "investors" wont let that happen. When I say investor I mean people that think they can buy a house by buying a card for A and then selling for B

If they wanted to test unique effects, they shouldn't have made desirable characters with new desirable artwork as the cards. What an absurd concept entirely. People have been waiting for Kiora and Davriel, and they pull this exclusion crap? Screw off. And now it's a giant uphill battle for their incompetence.

STOP trying to make digital happen wotc, it's not happening.

making me hate paper too now

Yeah, lets put the new mechanics on cards people DON'T want to play. That makes sense.
It only makes sense in paper. This is just creating exclusion and fragmenting interest between two platforms
You carry around an extra person to pull off seek without being accused of cheating?

Then why do somenthig like seek in the first place, other than greed, loosing the identity of the game in the process? Is this a cardgame or a videogame?
When you go after somenthig and you do everything to get it including loosing your identity then you are greedy

Well this seems utterly crap for the game as a whole. But at least unlike the crossovers, I can just ignore these and pretend they don't exist. It's not like I'll ever see one.

I have the exact opposite feeling. I love some of the cards spoiled (Like Davriel), it's perfectly doable in paper and I hate that I'm forced each time to print a proxy version of it as the only way to have it and ask playgroup if they are fine with it (and probably won't), instead of having it as default accepted and legal in EDH.
isn't it obvious that they are trying to more and more divorce paper and digital mtg? it's not necesarily a bad thing, for example having "eternal" format that uses all cards available on digital platform is very good since it gives players something to do with their digital objects when they rotate out of standard. but i would say that gimmickiness of those mechanics seem to serve only the purpose of not being able to do them effectively in paper although i would need to see all the cards first before final judgement.

I would like to have something to do with my real standard cardboard after they rotate out. If they cant comply with that then I want them to get rid entirely of standard, and make that thing full digital, so the standard sets are avaible only in digital format. And if some of these cards are really worth of a GATHERING with old wizards, meaning that they are good enough to compete with somenthing like the gorgeous force of will, then only then, they would be reprinted in some expensive modern eternal horizon or eternal masters or modern masters. So at this point the should print only legacy reprints, and leave the fun new morally correct stuff for the kiddies for them to play in theirs new gizmos.

How, create something without enough testing, is not a "disgusting behavior"? (knowing that this could make the buyer lost its money)

I for one like the idea of UB, but ... Stranger Things? It has practically no mythology or worldbuilding to pull from. The characters are all regular joes who work and go to school, except when they're fighting monsters in a regular town, and the monsters have absolutely no depth to them at all.

This was such a weird choice.

Yeah I get what you mean, in any moment the good people are going to start to blabbing about stranger things "lore" PFFFFFF. I am surprised that wizards of the coast associated themselves with the flat-earther that spreads ignorance around the world
Remember kids, only overly convoluted high fantasy is allowed to have "lore." /s

Not entirely you are right at that. But camon man stranger things is just a rehash of a lot of stuff with a retro label just because. To have a lore you first need an identity stranger things is happy at living in the shadow of old retro things

So an homosexual person with right wing beliefs is evil, but a left wing homosexual is good? Is so much funny how people that claim to be the defenders of homosexuals try to destroy an homosexual woman.

    Tabletop Simulator.

    https://store.steampowered.com/app/286160/Tabletop_Simulator/

The program itself is just a tool that allows players to generate their own content; some is official 'DLC' from the game manufacturers themselves (I bought Scythe for $8, courtesy of Stonemaier), the rest is user generated and either stored server side or available to save locally, and 100% free. I've been using it these past few months to play both 40k and Magic, the latter of which is especially easy if you already have decks built on tappedout or archidekt. Bear in mind that TTS doesn't actually know the rules of any given game, it just gives you the physical objects to play them.

I only play EDH and Pioneer, and I'm pretty well satisfied with how Wizards has been contributing to those formats. YMMV, but I feel like you also might be more satisfied if you actually got to play, so that's how we got here.

Naaah. Let's play cthulhu wars is better than magic these days. And it costs around the same as magic...
