Permanents you control with mana abilities have Shroud.
Enchanted permanent has “T: Add G or W to your mana pool.”

I just feel like they don't necessarily address color, because an "amount" of something doesn't have color...

Search your library for a card and reveal it. If the mana in your mana pool could be used to pay its mana cost, you may play it without paying its mana cost. Otherwise, put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library.

Basically, lets say you play the card and still have UUBB in your mana pool. I want this so that if you choose a card that you could play using UUBBor less, you can play it for free. Is the above as close as I'm gonna get?

    Quote from ZasZ234
Preempt should work like Glissa Sunseeker's ability and say "..., if you have :symb::symb::symb::symb: in your mana pool.", because "could pay" is open for interpretation.

Do i need to say have BLAHMANA or have at least BLAHMANA?

Also, I changed blossom, but dont have time to edit right now

also, for the card you gave with blossom, the paying for the ability would add a counter, so it should probaby read remove two, were i to use it.

    Late-Blooming Colossus 1G
    Creature - Plant Giant
Blossom 30 (This comes into play with thirty blossom counters on it. Whenever mana that shares a color with this is added to your mana pool, remove a blossom counter from it.)
Late-Blooming Colossus gets +18/+18 and has Trample as long as there are no blossom counters on it.
    2/2

    or, more simply

    Glowpetal Warden W
    Creature - Plant Cleric
Blossom 5 (This comes into play with five blossom counters on it. Whenever mana that shares a color with this is added to your mana pool, remove a blossom counter from it.)
Whenever a creature comes into play, if there are no blossom counters on Glowpetal Warden, you gain 2 life.
    1/1

    the ability word:

    Potentialist Assassin 2B
    Creature - Human Assassin
Preempt T: Destroy target non-black creature. Play this ability only if you could pay 4B.
    2/2

(they are all abilities that are free but you need the mana in your pool)

    lastly,

    Potent Prod B
    Sorcery
    Target player discards a card.
Ritualize 1 (Discard this card, Sacrifice a permanent: Add this card’s mana cost to your mana pool.)

    Fanatical Rusher 3R
    Creature - Human Barbarian
    Haste
Ritualize 2 (Discard this card, Sacrifice two permanents: Add this card’s mana cost to your mana pool.)
    3/2

so....the three new keywords for a mana pool block? yay/nay? abort/retry/fail?

Is there a way to phrase blossom that doesn't require all these counters and counting them up?

Balance - 3/5 So the breakdown in total mana required for cards drawn is 4-1, 5-2, etc. Nowhere in this curve does it really seem like that good of a card. It's ok, consider you can still use the other mana, and its probably best/most likely with three colors.
Creativity - 2/5 I feel like this is one of the first and most obvious ideas, but that said, it hasnt been done before either.
Qualitiy - 4/5 color of mana.
    Total: 9/15

Balance - 4.5/5 So its like wrath plus with a more color intensive mana cost. Does it belong in black? up for debate. But as for power level, I think its well and good, though perhaps a bit overpowered if you can really ramp it.
Creativity - 3.5/5 Its a nice play on wrath but the mana pool part feels slapped on.
    Qualitiy - 3.5/5 No shuffling?
    Total: 11.5/15

Balance - 4/5 I think this might be a bit more balanced if it relied on green mana, but either way, you still need somethng to DO with the mana. I think its a fair card, could see print at that level.
Creativity - 3.5/5 The play on chorus of the conclave was one of my first thoughts as well, and while its creative in a sense, you could've gone a step further.
    Qualitiy - 5/5 I don't take off for lack of a comma.
    Total: 12.5/15

Balance - 4/5 So in the right deck this card is very good, and there's no limit to how many you can play at once, meaning the moment you have one mana of each color you could, presumably, drop four at once. Other than that, I think its balanced.
Creativity - 4/5 I made a card like this, and felt it was one of my cooler ideas, so it only follows in turn that I think its cool when you do it. Its a good play on mana pool mattering.
Qualitiy - 4/5 Color of mana and I'm not sure whether "if you have" would be the wording used, but there's no precedent.
    Total: 12/15

Balance - 3/5 This feels a little black green to me instead of black red, because red rarely, except with manamorphose for some reason, gets to add anything but red to your mana pool.
Creativity - 2.5/5 Its a ritual, which does not make a mana pool matters card alone. I know it cares what you already have, but that's not quite enough of a focus on the mana pool.
    Qualitiy - 5/5 good.
    Total: 10.5/15

Balance - 2.5/5 So I'm gonna call this broken, because there are so many abilities that cost 1 that allow you to abuse this, not to mention ursapine. I think I could've prefered color of mana greatly to amount.
Creativity - 4/5 I like the idea of cards that constantly care about mana pool, not just when you do something with them.
    Qualitiy - 5/5 yup.
    Total: 11.5/15

Balance - 2.5/5 so if i get it, this lets you turn your excess mana, one mana per spell you play, into stored mana for later in the form of little dudes. I'm not following how an elemental does this, and it just seems weird, and possibly even overpowered, because you get the dudes!
Creativity - 2.5/5 It sure is different... but not necessarily in a good way.
Qualitiy - 1.5/5 You're missing spaces, the ability isn't in quotes, you could just say you may pay 1, there are other things too.
    Total: 6.5/15

Balance - 3.5/5 So the base creature stats are fine, and then its like, some instant help or just mana for abilities during combat. I think this would be better without the first strike, which makes it slightly overpowered, allowing you to play spells to toughen it using the mana it makes.
Creativity - 4/5 I like manalink. I don't think any more needs to be said.
Qualitiy - 5/5 cool cool coooool.
    Total: 12.5/15

Balance - 2/5 On the one hand its restricted to when it hurts the player, but on the other hand, if you already are getting 5 damage to the player, why wouldn't you just always add insult to injury and wipe the board, because you can probably take the burn if you're winning enough to get this guy through.
Creativity - 4/5 I like combat phase mana pool shenanigans.
    Qualitiy - 4.9/5 amongst?.
    Total: 10.9/15

    Balance - 2.5/5 When it dies, pay X, X life, and draw X cards.....in blue....not ok.
Creativity - 3.5/5 I like the leaves play trigger, except that it brings mana burn too much into focus.
    Qualitiy - 4/5 "a card" "mana pool".
    Total: 10/15

Balance - 1.5/5 Your opponent pretty much can't play spells about one or two turns after you play this. And you can. And you can build up mana to do it.
Creativity - 4/5 A good play on an existing card.
Qualitiy - 5/5 nothing im sure enough to criticize.
    Total: 10.5/15

Balance - 4/5 Nice restriction, seems not too broken, yet very good.
Creativity - 5/5 A good restriction, clever mana pool usage.
Qualitiy - 4.5/5 Capital A, period between sentences.
    Total: 13.5/15

Balance - 2/5 This number would be different if it could only be a white aura, and/or only be one aura, but i'm putting four mythic proportions on my dude with this at once, for four mana, without even getting burned because i've already won.
Creativity - 4/5 I think its clever that another card makes things in your hand free via the mana pool.
Qualitiy - 4/5 I don't think this is how a static ability would be worded.
    Total: 10/15

WINNER: Sharda, with my simplest and best review.
