If you are suggesting that mine doesn't function within the parameters of the game, you should explain why.

This is not an obvious fact.

It is an obvious fact that losing a land drop can cost you the game.

Having your land enter the battlefield tapped can cost you the game.

There's nothing greedy about my current version. 58% chance of drawing one now in your opening turn (without your A.S. mulligan rule) simply secures a better coin flip, or every other game. You have to actually control a permanent before it produces prisma. It only gives you one loyalty counter. Yours gives you two, which is way more greedy and broken stand-alone. You don't need to produce mana when you can fire off your ultimate two turns early (or better).

I can't be bothered to spell such simple things out, that would be an insult (at least!) to your intelligence and I would never do that to you. Trust that in time true reflection shall endow grace. As for my card, not to toot my own horn, but I didn't realize how subtly brilliant it truly was until you pointed out every reason why. I'm just in awe of myself honestly. Don't worry, you'll still be given first credit though its clear at this point I've made this mechanic all my own.

Except when I said, "Not ETB".

I think my final version is in.

I prefer the limit on five over six, it's like they each would reflect one of the five colors. Five different versions could be painted towards this theme too. The ability is silly powerful. Don't want to get irresponsible here. Just want to build some suspense.

Yes, but an EtB card that actually functions within the parameters of the game reflects my reality much better. A pity you're so greedy that you can't see past your own appetites.

    This is much better:

    Hall of Eternity
    Legendary Land
    Hall of Eternity enters tapped.
t: Add one mana of any color.
Esoteric 2 (This land enters with two loyalty counters on it. Whenever a planeswalker enters, you may move a loyalty counter from this land onto it.)

    Aurora Halls
    Land
    Aurora Halls enters tapped.
    t: Add U.

I have been struggling to come up with a response beyond "too cheap" or "too powerful" since the first version. The change to legendary is a marvelous fix to this problem that I couldn't articulate. My only remaining comment would be why red? The ability as is falls within green's slice of pie so while red isn't a problem it isn't nessecary. Though for the sake of argument I can't imagine any other color paring up for this effect.

I honestly don't think this falls entirely within green's purview, so I went Gruul.

    Amazing design concept.

Requiring them to tap for the effect is not amazing. It will ruin the card's competitive edge.

Paying 2—even 3 would be far superior.

Exiling them and then returning them to the battlefield—now we're really talking power.

Care to mock up your vision, I can't quite see it.

Are Zask and Rodolf a part of a rare cycle of legends with enemy-color hybrid mana in their abilities?

Seems to be, we have a new Agrus Kos as the Boros entry, so just missing Izzet & Simic now.

They named him Preston but didn't make him a Cleric? Bad form.

What is a hybrid creature token?

Regardless, I would make it a 1/1 token. Gaining all abilities from each token may be a bit too powerful.

Thanks for the engagement, changes made.

It has nothing to do with that. It's exactly as I've said.

The difference between poison and medicine is in the dose.

It doesn't matter what you say, but that you say it in very funny way.

    Exactly this.

I really can't find a way to add a Deus Ex Machina from the ones I have and see this is balanced. I wanted Psychometry for this; which currently reads: [you may shuffle a card from your hand into your library then draw a card]. This giving you two cards for two mana, even though it also costs you a card from your hand is so edgy and borderline. I don't think it's bad. I know it would be exciting. But it's sloppy. I can't sign my name on that quality of work. The other option would be to reduce the cost. If this was a single mana, it would be playable and good, but arguably not balanced. So it's either questionably unfair, but good; or undeniably balanced, but crap. Not a good rock and a hard place to be between. I would see this as the new Veil of Summer. Which is odd—because if this was a bauble for 0, who would care?

    These ideas are bad.

Grip of Chaos is already a card. So, idea:

    Caught By Chaos 1RRR
    Instant
Until end of turn, whenever a spell or ability is put onto the stack, if it has a single target, reselect its target at random. (Select from among all legal targets.)
    Draw a card.

Chaos & selecting for others is antithetical to true chaos from which emerges gods AND monsters. Better to let one die on the others sword and true purpose emerge.

I'll give the cards in the other thread a look. Tried these out as revisions:

    Blackclaws, Son of Ayula 1G
    Legendary Creature - Bear
When Blackclaws, Son of Ayula enters the battlefield, you may have it fight another target creature.
Whenever a bear you control fights another creature, it deals the excess damage to that creature's controller. If a creature you control deals 4 or more damage to a player this way, you may draw a card.
    2/2

    Grizzled-Limbs, the Prayer Tree G
    Legendary Artifact Creature - Treefolk
Grizzled-Limbs is a Forest Land in addition to its other types when it's on the battlefield.
Whenever a Bear you control deals damage to an opponent, it it has two or more counters on it, you gain 2 life. If it has four or more counters on it, untap target Bear or Basic Forest you control. If it has six or more counters on it, destroy target nonland, noncreature permament.
    0/4

    Whitefur, Daughter of Ayula 1G
    Legendary Creature - Bear
    Ward 2
Modified Creatures you control have Ward 2.
Tap five bears creatures you control: Whitefur deals 5 damage to each creature with flying and each player.
    2/2

    OTHERS:
    Sleuth of Bears 1GG
    Creature - Bear
    Myriad
Other Bears you control get +1/+1.
Whenever two or more Bears you control deal combat damage to an opponent, create a Clue token.
    2/2

    Honeydrop Therapist G
    Creature - Elf Advisor
T: Add G. Spend this mana only to cast Bear spells or activate Bear abilities.
G, T, Tap two untapped Bears you control: Search your library for a Bear card, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle.
    1/1

Now that I understand a bit better, perhaps:

Consult (Roll a six-side die. Accept the advice of an untapped permanent you control matching the result, then tap that permanent.)

I think they were referring to my initial suggestion that the advising permanent tap itself.

In that case, wouldn't it be better as an activated ability?
    2Tap an untapped permanent: Roll a D6

No, turns out I've been confused: you roll a die, get a result, then tap a permanent with advice columns? to activate the corresponding effect. I thought the tapping was to get Savis's advice. Bonehead me :p
