Ok wizards how many maestro legends are gonna be kill on sight
and I guess that’s maros mana never used before teaser main color in middle sandwiched between its ally hybrid mana symbols. For this case B with dimir and Rakdos hybrid symbols in between
They're really letting just anybody be a planeswalker now.
I think in these circumstances it has more to do with the character than the actual ability to planeswalk.
Also, I am SUPER pumped for this set. Elder Brain looks cool as all hell and I cannot wait to make a deck with that bad boy in it. Also, a Mind Flayer Commander deck? sign me up!
You know what you ever hear football fans complain about? Too much football. For people who love this game y’all sure complain a lot for getting more stuff you like haba
Am i supposed to be hyped for this, new capenna, or kamigawa? Im confused. What product am i actually supposed to care about right now?
Because when spoiler season overlaps with spoiler season and a new set release... well i end up not giving a **** about any of it
Disappointed its a crossover set, dissappointed in how absolutely bombarded with commander ***** we are, but neat elf lady i guess.
Almost like too much too soon. They need to dial it back so they can sustain sales instead of fomo buying
A part of me feels as though they're bombarding us with more Commander support as an excuse not to fix Paper Standard (Arena and Alchemy are already a mess) because they hate the format and are using the pandemic as a crutch not to get more people into MTG via socializing In-Person at Local Game Stores (LGSs).
I agree that Standard has been pretty shoddy for awhile now, but I disagree about Commander, as it is one of the most social ways to play the game, as well as popular.
I don't think the set release schedule being absurdly congested is even a debate to be had anymore.
It's ridiculous, and I do agree that we get a lot of stuff thrown at us all the time. But I also don't think it's going to change anytime soon, and therefore we don't need people making those comments EVERY single time we hear some new information. Like come on now... we get it.

Pick the one you want to be excited for. If none of them, that's fine. If all of them? Cool. Otherwise, stop complaining. We've heard this complaint so often that it's drowning out what needs to actually be discussed on these forums: the cards, the lore, etc.
Can we instead talk about how cool that Githyanki is?
Hey everyone, welcome back to the wonderful world of speculation. Today we are covering New Capenna, and more specifically the Commander Decks. We now know a little bit of info on each of the factions in New Capenna, as well as have a good idea of what maybe their strategies will be. In an effort to dig deeper, I am going to begin some speculation on the decks, focusing mainly on reprints I could see make each list. I am also going to be suggesting some odd cards we have yet to see reprinted!
Obscura WUB - Named ‘Obscura Operation’, it’s a deck targeted at “players who love strategizing and saving their big reveals for later in the match”. Can you say ‘counterspell’? It sounds like a control deck that aims to make games go long. It also seems a fair bit of hand disruption and scrying may feature, as the Obscura faction is all about surveillance. Could the ‘Surveil’ keyword finally make a comeback? With a sphinx as their leader, I could see sphinx's being a big part of the deck, as they often have a lot of abilities that tie into mysteries and knowledge. I imagine this deck will have a lot of control elements, as well as maybe cards that steal your opponents stuff. Some ideas for reprints:
Riveteers BRG - After that, we’ve got ‘Riveteers Rampage’. It sounds like the opposite of the Obscura deck, as it’s for “players who prioritize high-speed, hard-hitting attacks”. Sounds pretty simple – we can assume it’s an aggro deck full of big, hasty creatures. If I had to guess, I imagine there will be a lot of cards in here that bust your opponents stuff. The Riveteers are the demolition crew, or deconstructors. They also seem like they would love cards that let your creatures fight! My predictions:
I would like for Monarch to appear more often as well. It really gives Red and White a flavorful way to get some card draw, while overall making games more interesting.
100 Monarchs over Goad. Also, more votes. Goad is so boring (and extremely confusing mechanic also). Who even play goad cards at all?
I play a couple of the bigger splashier Goad cards in my fun decks, but that's about it.

Call me an old fashioned Magic player, but it's a bit too much for me. I understand they're branching into other IPs, but I don't even know who this character is, and people are calling it an animated waifu. Why bring this, as well as Fortnite and other things into MtG?
I do think that the spirit of Magic is dying slowly, and although I love the game it seems to be drifting into that endless desperate grab for money and attention.
This card is something you're goibg to wanna watch out for in limited. If you miscalculate a swing and this comes back at you, it could be game over. I like both arts as well!
My pauper cube and EDH decks will likely play it!
Different costs though.

Maybe this kind of stuff is what people wanted.
