There are actually a lot of physical cards that help with this. Anything that forces player's creatures to attack each combat might help. Anything that can accelerate mana ramp could also in turn build people up faster so they can have earlier, more explosive plays.
Aside from things like that, maybe talk it over with your group and get more aggressive decks in the mix.
I would love to see some more weird decks... just stuff that hasn't been fully explored or fleshed out yet.
I'd love to see something like Necrotic Ooze as a Sultai Commander [legendary ooze]. Something focused around making some kind of really crazy synergistic monster.
I would also be interested in another really political commander, but not group hug. Something more like Pheldagriff would be great, or maybe something like Sen Triplets?
I think a -1/-1 counter Jund commander could be really cool, but they just did Jund in C18.
Another fun deck would be Red/Black chaos, something I have always wanted to attempt to build but never had the guts. Perhaps all the recent coin flip cards are a sign of what is to come?
Have we had a dedicated Blink deck really? That could be fun.
I probably would not mind seeing a colorless deck themed around the Eldrazi, but only if they retconned it so you could include Devoid cards in a deck with a colorless Commander.
I would also really love to see a Morph themed commander: Preferably either Sultai or Temur. This seems like a likely choice because it has a lot of support already and could easily be made really viable with the right commander at the helm and some juicy new cards.
Last but not least, please give me a Saproling themed deck. I know we have Ghave, but I need some more cards focused around Saprolings.
In my dreams, this year's product will be plane themed and will feature legends from minor/lesser known/obscure/old planes like Lorwyn, Kamigawa, Mercadia, Segovia or Ulgrotha.
It's not going to happen though.
They do often throw old legends in the mix though, so even if the decks aren't themed directly around them, some of your favorite legends might be featured in the products!
I would not mind seeing tribal decks again I suppose. I really want a Black/Blue Faerie tribal deck.
Just wanted to start a speculation thread to see what ideas people were considering for our next Commander Product.
Some ideas I have been considering:
VILLAINS -- Each Commander deck would be themed around an iconic villain from Magic. They could do a Phyrexia deck (Mono Black with Artifacts), Nicol Bolas (featuring a Planeswalker you could use as a Commander), etc.
PLANES -- Decks featured around a specific plane and the themes strongest on those planes.
Idk about "free", but any type of mana rock that creates any color of mana might be be decent. There are also lands that can convert mana or create any color or mana.
So I made a deck of Yidris and wheels and a lot of land stuff and also reanimator and it was a huge mess that was a ton of fun to play that looked like this
I also made a deck when TYS came out that was far less creatures and far more spells which also worked, it is a good bunch of colors to pull this off in a lot of directions.
How do you win with this deck? Laboratory Maniac? Yidris combat damage? It looks far more consistant than my build haha!
Lab Man is one Valakut is the second, Waste Not Zombies #3 and then other Combat Damage somewhere in 4
I realized after I had made it and it worked once that I really really hate resolving The Gitrog MonsterDakmor Salvage loops so I pulled it apart entirely.
I wonder if Lab Man is something I should consider. I'm not trying to run any infinite combos or anything too "Spikey", I'm more so trying to just make crazy plays. Lab man would be a nice surprise in the late game I suppose.
Also, some weird tech I have been enjoying:
Right now, I really like using Bonus Round with any of my power spells in my deck. This card is nuts.

I actually really like this product line. They seem fairly good in terms of power and reprints, and although people don't like some of the artwork, I do enjoy the new alternate arts.
I hope that if we return to other planes in the future, we see similar products that have throwbacks to them.
Theros? Tarkir? Alara?
Theros makes me want alternate Art Terese Nielson Gods!
Idk if it is a hidden gem, but Thran Temporal Gateway is absolutely nuts in my Breya Artifacts deck. Considering most of the cards are artifacts, and that there are a hefty number of legendaries, this thing can really put in some work.
I haven't seen it in a lot of lists really so I figured I would bring it up.
Oooo I like Memory Plunder a lot! It seems powerful because you don't have to exile the card.
My favorite part about this deck is that I feel like I never get bored of it. I end up doing something crazy and unique every time I use it.
Unfortunately, the first time I put the list together, I ended up doing some really broken stuff with Waste Not super early on, which kind of caused a lot of my playgroup to fear me and make me a target.
Since then I have been playing a little bit more politically and also added some oddities that help everyone, like:
Normally I am against these sorts of cards because generally you don't want to be helping your opponents, however, politics aside, they put me in a better position to kill/steal/wheel all the nice stuff they get!
So I have a pretty wild Yidris deck that I have been messing around with for awhile now. I didn't know where I wanted to take this deck for the longest time. I have seen plenty of Cascade, Voltron, and Storm variants of this deck, but with my current design I am going for something a little more... wild.
My game plan is to run a lot of wheels to cycle through my deck (as well as always changing my opponent's hands and filling their graveyards). Once the graveyards start to get full, the plan is to utilize cards that get value from the graveyard, whether it be my grave or my opponents!
I also run a bunch of just weird cards that have that chaotic surprise factor to them, or can just be outright broken. Often times, these are some of the most useful and strangest cards that do wild things:

What do you guys think?

Another really fun card is Reality Scramble. Change your weaklings into potentially insane things like Consuming Aberration or Wrexial, the Risen Deep. Also fun to change Rites of Flourishing into Deadbridge Chant!

I have not really seen any version of my deck, or any deck like it, but I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for a build like this?
