Hmm. Snowballs pretty well if you get the enters trigger and can make an attack with it, but having both might be a tall order. This seems an odd fit for a signpost given that we've seen green/white get enchantress already and blue/red get artifacts. I guess there will be enough enchantment/artifact creatures across all 5 colors to make this work.
I wonder if we are getting two signpost uncommons for this set, like Innistrad, one being a legendary creature and the other just being a card that fits the theme. I think someone said there was like 34 slots for multicolored cards in here.
If this is not thr case, I still hope that the multicolored rare cycle is legendary creatures.
They always play these cards too safe. I can't see this card breaking anything in standard, and in EDH there are plenty of things that do it better. There is also an abundance of exile and graveyard removal floating around these days.
Just let the cat die! Let it go to the graveyard where it belongs!
It's less of removing downsides and more of removing unnecessary complexity. Slivers vs Slivers used to be a nightmare to deal with. Keeping track of your own board can be difficult enough sometimes.
At this point, we know we have two new Commander decks coming out with the set; Buckle Up (WU) and Upgrades Unleashed (RG). I am wondering what other people think/hope will be reprinted here, as well as who might we see as the new legendaries for the decks, what kinds of abilities they will have, etc. I expect Buckle Up will be a vehicle themed deck, while Upgrades Unleashed will be focused on the new "Modified" ability.
So with what we know now, I am guessing it's vehicles vs "Modified"? I have no idea what colors the decks would be. They both feel very Red White and or blue.
they said one deck is gruul the other is azorius
Anyway the next leak tells me are vehicles are persudo spirits

Menace is kinda dull. It's spammed a lot too for cards that probably shouldn't have it, as they're not high tier list.
First thing that comes to mind for me is regenerate. This makes a lot of sense from a flavor standpoint as alligators and crocs are notorious for surviving immense damage and maiming.
That would have great synergy with the fight mechanic, but also might want to employ and alternative activation cost (apart from mana) to help secure its utility on the turn you tap out to drop this.
Maybe something like "Sacrifice a creature, Bog Crocodile gains indestructible until end of turn. Tap it."
Just an idea. Trying to play around with just a good value creature; like a Ravenous Chupacabra that sacrifices raw killing power for more board presence after the ETB. A great limited card, but doesn't necessarily say "signpost uncommon" which means its probably just a value uncommon in a multicolored set.
Bog Predator1BG
Creature - Crocodile (Uncommon)
Menace
When Bog Predator enters the battlefield, you may have it fight target creature you don't control.
3/3
Just an old Kamigawa idea I had when I designed some old Duel Decks. Iname was the head of a Black/Green Spirit deck, focused on "Soulshift".
Iname, Eternal Aspect3BG
Legendary Creature - Spirit (M)
Lifelink, Deathtouch
Whenever Iname, Eternal Aspect or another Spirit you control dies, you may return another Spirit or Arcane card with lesser mana value from your graveyard to your hand.
[4/4]
The card was designed to cover all of Soulshift in one neat and clean card. As a Commander, it gives you a traditional Black and Green effect im a tribe that is usually Blue and White. I included Arcane to pump some life back onto that somewhat dead mechanic as well.
Here is to hoping we see something like this in Kamigawa:Neon Dynasty as a throwback to Soulshift!
The fact that O-Kagachi somehow isn't legendary is pretty weird. Only thing making me wonder about realness.
Honestly I wish they would have just printed the backside creature version and skipped the saga. It's an awesome card and finally worthy, but now it can't be my commander
I never knew someone could be so miserable over something so small!
The lands are unique and not for everyone, but I think that's cool. They will have regular basics in the set as well so don't get so bent out of shape.

I still think this is pretty damn good for white removal. For two mana this card does a lot... and has some beautiful art to boot.

Some reprints I am expecting:
Gruul Modified sounds fun!

Maybe she fits better in a future set?
